“Went there with Alex to purchase two Penny Farthings for his San Jose bike shop. He bought a silver and black one. We loaded it in his beat up green rusty old van. It was a spilritual experience. Greg was humble, fair. Gave us a discount on the black because it was very slightly used and the silver one (I think was made of stainless steel). Alex enlisted me to help him because I had a little experience riding scrappy original Penny Farthings in the Antelope Valley in Lancaster Fair parades and in Rosamond at the Tropico Gold Mine Chili contests.”
“Easily the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had with a bike shop. I worked with John to purchase a new bike, and he was absolutely incredible every step of the way. He has such a wealth of knowledge and helped me dial in everything to build up a new bike – frame selection, components, fit, riding style. John was very communicative the entire time, pricing was super fair, and I could not be happier with my bike and the whole process of getting to this point.”
“Great service, friendly staff, limited items in stock for clothing but that’s any bike shop. I’ve gone in with simple questions regarding bike parts, tire repair questions, installation requests and they’ve always been very knowledgeable and helpful. They’ve taken care of small things free of charge and are always happy to do so. Love alameda bicycle! Keep doing what your doing guys.”
“We had a great experience renting bikes from Westside Joe’s during our first visit to Alameda! Vivian’s was amazing with so many helpful tips and feedback during our day trip to our future home. We can’t wait to come back, rent again and buy bikes from her.”
“I like the way i feel here whenever i stop in. The gents provided another solution so I spend more time in the saddle than behind the wheel. Their experience saved me time and money again.”
