“Kapel is very polite, he is usually working most times and they have pretty much every alcohol beverage you can think of. If you let them know they don’t have it, they will try and get it.”

“I'd first heard about this place from Dr. Dave Jalen about 13 years ago. As a guy that doesn't drink, doesn't buy wine, and isn't very fancy...I'm at a loss about anything alcoholic. Wine scares me. Dan has been my trusted advisor for the past 13 years. He's not only provided me very solid recommendations (with a 100% appreciation rate), he has also helped me buy some legendary wine for some dental legends (Dr. Carl Misch (Dentist to pope John Paul, RIP), Dr. Jeff Brucia). Some of his wines are impossible to get, even for the dentist of the pope. Thanks, Dan!”

“So happy to have this market in the area! This store is well-stocked, really clean, and well-organized. I walk there multiple times a week for small grocery hauls or just to grab a quick snack. I love that there are some Asian/Korean products too! I can stock up on fresh bread, tofu, snacks, some produce, household cleaning items, and grab a frozen treat for the walk home ?”

“Clean, well-stocked convenience store with a huge selection of alcoholic beverages from high-end to super cheap and a wine section that must take hours to inventory. Also stocked with a wide variety of snacks and home essentials, their milk is extra cold and always fresh. Friendly, helpful staff get to know you and will chat when the place isn't busy. Clean, maneuverable parking lot including a wheelchair accessible parking space. The only downside is that they close a bit early for a liquor store - 10 pm at the latest. It's definitely a spot to check out!”

“I had the pleasure of visiting the cigar shop and received some of the best service ever. I traveled all the way from Florida, and she made me feel like a local.”

“E-Z Liquors 2 is a pretty cool local liquor spot. They've got a fair amount of craft beer and soda (including Alameda Island!), and the prices are right.

It feels a bit cramped, and they don't have the biggest selection around, but definitely a great spot to go to if you're in Alameda.

EDIT: The recent comment from the owner seals the deal and makes me want to give it an extra star! Will put in a request next time I'm in.”

“I'm so happy we finally have indian food nearby. I like to pop in after work and get their combos for dinner. My family loves it. They do have a lot of chicken chunks in their chicken Tika and curries which we appreciate. The samosas are good as well. I've tried some of the frozen food offerings and were satisfied with those. What a great addition to this side of alameda. Will make this our goto place.”

“I'll call it here: they have a cheese and wine selection with items that even in France would be hard to find. Really a top tier store, and excellent service too. Highly recommended.”

“I always stop by for some soda. They carry Mexican glass bottled sprite and coke which taste so much better than the American coke and that's why I like going here.”

“I have been going here for years. Always very friendly every time I come into the store. It's a small store but they carry a little bit of everything and when I don't feel like going to the grocery store to get alcohol or ice cream or whatever little thing I don't really need but might want, this is a great option.”

“mostly everything you need whenever you need it I wouldn't say the grocery part is that stocked but the alcohol in any other immediate staples you may need in case you run out of something you can get here they have a wide selection of incense. The guys that run it super sweet and the customer service is great.”

“I love this grocery store. They have a huge selection of items. Are they the most affordable grocery store? No. But they have everything you can want and they have a security guard at the door. Some people find that to be comforting (others may find it to be off-putting). If you want a grocery store with plenty of variety, I recommend this one.”

“They have a good selection of liquor. Includes one thats very hard to find many places in CA that happens to be my favorite. I was SO excited to see them carry it. I realized it was probably their last bottle though from how dusty it was. The lady working (i assume manager/owner) said shed be willing to reorder it! (For me or otherwise im not sure but i dont care!) very sweet and considerate lady. They also do cashback unlike the other liquor store around the corner!! So thats very helpful! i could also tell she remembered me from when i got cashback last week which was super cool! Super convenient location and Decent average amount of available street parking in front too!”
