“I haven’t felt a warm vibe in every shop on Piedmont and vintage stores can be kind of snobby sometimes but I’m happy to say that that frigidaire environment has NOT been my experience at Sunshine Prophecy. The vibe is super warm and inviting; There is ALWAYS good music playing; The employees there are always very patient with any of my (often MANY haha) questions; — AND I’ve never felt pressure to buy anything if I wasn’t ready. — That is especially important to me bc in order to budget I purposely do LONG leads on items I’m interested in. I might stop in once or twice and ask questions/do price checks before I finally treat myself and they always treat me like a paid customer. Clothes, jewelry, purses are cute. LOVE their witchy candles, herbs, and TAROT CARDS. It seems like the owner of this store had more of a “creative calling ” then just a bottom line in starting this business.”

“SIYA is a gem! This place isn’t comparable to any other Indian clothes shopping experience I’ve had. Found out about them from a family member who always has the best outfits. It’s my go to spot now. Their selection is fantastic, offering a wide range of high-quality options for all occasions. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and Sonu is super helpful—both really go out of their way to style you for the events you're shopping for. I was able to get several outfits for my brother's wedding and my best friend's wedding within a day, and every piece was unique and beautiful. They even tailored everything, and the fit was perfect. One blouse needed to be fixed again and they were so kind and quick about it. They truly care that their clients are well taken care of. The prices reflect the quality you’re getting—well worth it! I also found gorgeous matching jewelry to complete my looks that the owner hand selected and was patient while I figured out what I liked best. My husband got three outfits and couldn’t be more excited to have high-quality Indian clothes, from a hassle free, fast, and easy shopping experience. Highly recommend SIYA for anyone looking for stunning Indian fashion with top-notch service!”

Unique,Cool, & Fun is how I would describe this business..
Terrasol is now located in Noe Valley right on Castro.Good vibes, good energy...I've been shopping here off and on since they were first located on Larkin @ Sutter with mainly botanicals and rare vintage finds.The cutest shop ever with so many interesting and cool things to see, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. I literally want to buy EVERYTHING whenever I come in here.! LOL.
The windows are always very creative & eye catching . And it never fails that I always see something I just have to have. Please do yourself a favor and support this fine local business before some greedy ass SF landlord makes it near impossible for them to stick around and are forced to shut down . One of the last remaining cool & original OG businesses left in The City.

“Dope Era is, No Question the Saucest clothing store I have ever had the pleasure of stepping inside the front door of. Fab is the Man also No Question, I'm not saying that because I know the guy or because we were both raised in North Oakland. I'm saying that because it's a great store that offers a great experience and mainly because your drip will be turned up to a Million degrees after you throw on the gear you just purchased from Dope Era Believe it! P.s. I also wanted to say or more like needed to say that them cats working in there M or F are top of the line individuals that refused to let an old head like myself walk out of there without his drip dripping off his frame in a proper way and that's is coming from a who has been dripping candy clean since before drip was wet and dripping yadada mean? But ah any-how it was really really real up in that thang I mean these cats are experts in drip or in other words the ladies and gentlemen of said establishment are all themselves what I would consider connoisseurs of fine haberdashery and you can't go wrong if was to fall up in 'nere and take a gander at what the player has to offer, you will be glad you did Mackin, that's on C'tas. Oh who am I you asked? The name happens to be Scottie Thurman , one of the few Oakland Hoop legends from Bushrod Park in The North side of Oakland, I have always had the utmost respect and admiration for Mistah Fab and when we finally met he was like , yeah I know you by name only, your reputation proceeds you, they say you was a real problem for some hall of famers back in the day , it was said by someone and I won't say who that you someone who is also an Oakland Hoop Legend Superstar that you never lost to him or anyone a one v one match including the person who I HEARD say this and he won't have a problem with me saying his name, Hook Mitchell the Super Duper Star when it comes to street Hoop legends he is number #1 and he is one of your best friends no hook said you was his brother and that when you get it going your truly Unstoppable and he said you could go full speed without ever stopping and he Called you Y.C. what does Y.C. mean? It means Yo... ..”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

“This is the last classic maritime store in the Fisherman's Wharf area. While everywhere else seems to have become a t-shirt shop, Frank's Fisherman sells authentic nautical items. Like a cool museum inside with a vast number of exciting items to browse. Also, lots of books, antiques, high end clothing are on display. A must stop shopping experience for real sailors, or anyone who is interested in the sea going lifestyle.”

“Julie at Maple Street Denim is incredible at determining fit and talking through differences between the denim brands and designs that her store carries. I found a pair of denim that was perfect for me and my first pair of selvedge! In love with the fit -- definitely trust Julie to help you find a size that works. Maybe due to modern vanity sizing, but I had to go 2-3 sizes down from my normal denim. I'll be back for repairs for my well-loved pairs :)”

“When I came across this store it was as if the clouds had parted to let the sun shine down on me. Yeah I’m exaggerating but it’s a cool store and the dude who runs it seems laxed. But when he asks you “how much do you think it’s worth?” I recommend quoting some outrageous price and wait for his counter offer. I mean it’s negotiating 101. But when you’re desperate for money, you’ll just be happy if somebody is willing to pay you anything. A mistake I shan’t make again. I found a tropical/ethnic bathing suit on a rack with others and asked if it was on sale like the others were marked. The nice man told me the price and I bought it instantly. “A lovely and well curated little shop in Albany. Just steps from Solano Ave but easy to miss on a side street, this place is a delight. They have ceramics, incense, jewelry, perfumes, body wash, cards, small gifts. I think I saw granola, olive oil and a few cookbooks. They also have a good selection of gently used clothes, shoes, and bags. Kind people behind the counter. Just a wonderful place all round. I hope this store stays for a long time to come!”
