“More than a shoe store! I went in for a pair of shoes and walked out with exercises to do at home. The owner Craig (a physical therapist) and his assistant Luis evaluated my gate and leg strength…they fitted me with the best shoe for particular problem and taught me some exercises for strengthening my hips and stretching my calves. Apparently the workers are pre-med which explains the high quality of care I received. I just did the suggested exercises and lo and behold, my hips hurt…I had no idea they were so weak! They explained why. Anyway, in my entire life I’ve never been walked into a shoe store and walked out with so much! And my shoes are super cute too!”

“The person who helped me choose running shoes at Renegade was so great! I am just starting as a runner and noticed my feet tend to roll out, so I wanted some help choosing new shoes. The guy asked a lot of questions and gave me four options that took into account both my concerns and also my previous shoes. I have been so happy with the ones I got. Also, really appreciated that all the pairs he brought out were in the same reasonable price range so I didn’t have to evaluate value in a product that I don’t know anything about. I’m an active non-athlete so I am often doing hobbies and sports that I only know a little bit about, and I really appreciate when people who are experts are just kind and non-judgmental!”

This entire review is for the employee that waited on us. I have been in this store several times and I've never felt very welcomed there. Until this last time I think it was mother's Day. She helped my sister try on shoes and humored us as our mother ...did what mothers do ?
I really appreciated her professional attitude and kind demeanor. The few times I've been in this store it's just been stuffy and quiet. This day there was music and good vibes and I enjoyed it. If I didn't live so far away I suppose I would give them my money.”

Karen helped find several options and we ended up getting the Dansko Poppies. They have helped my girlfriend so much! She’s able to stand for 8 hour shifts with significantly less pain. “I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”
