“Both times I’ve come in here to buy a pair of runners, I’ve been impressed, but especially this last visit. After destroying my last pair I bought here 18+ months ago, I needed some new shoes. Madisyn was so helpful. She took her time listening to my needs, looking up my previous assessment and purchase, offered multiple ideas for pairs that would be a good fit, and then spent nearly 30 minutes with me as I tried on almost 10 options. She took my feedback seriously and made a genuine effort to find me the right pair. You don’t always get excellent service like this, and I appreciated it deeply, especially as running shoes are an investment nowadays! Very happy with my experience and purchase at this location.”
“This is a super helpful store full of knowledgeable people. If you have any foot issues and you need some help picking out some shoes, they're much more scientific and well-trained than an average shoe store. It's a great spot. Goes to show why it's been there for so long.”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

“What a pleasant experience! We came up from Santa Cruz for a concert at the Greek Theater. New shoes have been on the to do list for my hubby for awhile. We stumbled into Becks just to take a peek. We were fotunate to meet Victorya! Best shoe shopping experience ever! She is the best thing about Becks shoes. Knowledgeable, welcoming, charming, kind and loads of fun. A genuinely good human.
