“I went into Road Runner this morning and was greeted by Kenny. I explained my foot and hip issues and he then ran a test to determine what kind of shoe I needed. Good arch support and stability. I tried a bunch on but a very sore foot was preventing me from making a decision. Because Kenny was so helpful and kind, I wanted to post this review. I'll be back once my foot recovers. Kathleen”

“I rarely write a review about anything. I think the only other time I've been on Yelp was to complain about a car dealership pre-Covid. This time it's to praise the quality of the shoes The Walk Shop offers. I have many shoes from your store and I'm ALWAYS pleased! Two days ago, I realized I have a trip coming up and needed a new pair of comfortable black, semi-dress shoes. The only store I even considered going to was The Walk Shop! Once I arrived, in less than 10 minutes, I selected several different options, tried them on in my size, made a decision and was done with my purchase. Turns out I needed them for an event yesterday, too, and ended up having to do ALOT of unexpected walking and tons of going up and down stairs. NO PROBLEM!! My legs weren't even tired and I'm almost 67 years old! The right shoes make ALL the difference! And I swear that your prices have barely increased in the last few years. Even if I'd paid more, they are worth every penny! A GREAT value for an excellent look and comfort! I'll be back!”

“Looking at the positive reviews for this store, I completely understand the enthusiasm. Miranda was absolutely exceptional in her knowledge and assistance today. I had a particular use-case for the shoes I was looking for, and she gave me several styles to try. She described them expertly, and answered all my specific questions about color and helped me find the exact pair I needed. The atmosphere was great- I could tell she was happy to be working there. She is a true seasoned professional, and made the shopping/purchasing experience positive and fun. The music that was on in the store was fantastic, too! They had a wide variety on rotation, and it wasn't just me singing to it, either! Thank you to all the staff who make the store experience what it is. I will definitely be recommending everyone go there if they need shoes, and a bit of good cheer!”

“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

Most recently yesterday I met a lovely lady by the name of Natasha who was extremely helpful and gave me some great ideas on how to wear certain pieces. “I walked into this big, well-stocked store looking for a little help with a fit issue with my Mephisto fisherman sandals. Even though I didn't buy them there, this nice woman who was a seasoned expert did everything she could to resolve the issue on the spot. Even using tools that I didn't even know existed. “Luckily, I didn't know you could return at any North face store so I limited myself. Easily spent over an hour just checking the whole store out and found two jackets that fit what I was looking for and two other fun items I just liked. Four stars cuz their bathroom was broken... though that was probably good so I stopped shopping.”
