“My mother, a disabled senior person, has been dealing with ongoing billing issues with her Verizon Internet service for months. Despite multiple visits to the La Cañada store and numerous calls to customer service, no one was able to resolve her concerns. Worse, the manager at the La Cañada location treated her with unnecessary attitude and disrespect just because she could not remember some of the steps he showed her during her last visit.
On December 17th, while trying to help my mother address her billing problems, we visited the Verizon store in Alhambra. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made — because we were assisted by Ryan Azpeitia.
Ryan is exceptional. Despite being young, he demonstrated professionalism, patience, and problem-solving skills far beyond what we’ve experienced anywhere else at Verizon. He handled multiple customers at the same time without ever making anyone feel rushed. He checked in on his colleagues, offered help when needed, and maintained a calm, genuinely friendly attitude throughout.
Most importantly, Ryan accomplished in one visit what other Verizon representatives and the La Cañada store had failed to do in months. He was able to resolve the majority of my mother’s issues, explain everything clearly, and make her feel respected and taken care of. His dedication and passion for helping customers truly stand out.
Verizon is incredibly fortunate to have an employee like Ryan. He represents the absolute best of what customer service should be. We hope Verizon recognizes the value he brings to the company — he certainly earned our appreciation and respect.
