My grass-fed steak was tender and juicy, the mac n cheese was comforting and delicious, and the side of beets paired well with the goat cheese. My husband enjoyed his crispy chicken sandwich and fries. I love the variety of food offered at Urban Plates and knowing my body is getting high quality nutrients while enjoying something delicious!
They also offer a membership discount - worth it if you live nearby and frequent this place!

This is easily the best indian food I've had in OC. Generous portions, hospitable attitude, and 'refillable' rice! Not too expensive either given the portion size, SO worth it. DONT WALK RUNNNN here!!! All the spice variants are so accessible from mild to medium to spicy- There's also indian spicy (the hottest level) which I got, and it was PROPERLY spicy. Mild was not spicy at all if you don't want that. Seriously though, fabulous place, workers, and owner. Lovely.

26741 Aliso Creek Rd Ste B, Aliso ViejoStopped by for lunch and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Donkatsu Plate, Spicy Tofu Soup Meal, and the Bulgogi Bowl, and every dish was delicious.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My son has a sesame allergy, and they immediately checked with the kitchen and confirmed the ingredients.
The donkatsu was the thinner, smashed pork chop style with a perfectly crispy coating, and the house sauce paired with it was especially good. The bulgogi was tender and packed with flavor. The spicy tofu soup was on the milder side, making it a great option for anyone who enjoys the flavor without too much heat.
The food came out surprisingly fast, everything tasted fresh, and the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

I had coconut braised beef, coconut rice, and bok choy, cheeseburger with tomato and grilled onions, a salad, soda, and ice cream. This is on a limited menu. Could have got a chicken sandwich or quesadilla if I wasn’t already stuffed.
5 stars for value. Will return!

I was dining alone and she made me feel comfortable. I opted for the standard curry with vegetables and I added a side item. I also ordered a Coke. The Coke taste a little off maybe not correctly sweetened or carbonated. It wasn't my favorite. When the food arrived. It was hot and flavorful. That crispy cutlet was perfection. I'm gonna have to try some new things cause I'm such a creature of habit. Starts to get busy after 12:30 especially on a Sunday. Lots of parking. Cool vibes very clean location. I think reasonably priced overall. I went to beginner level today and got the mild spice level. Normally, I do like a one or two. And I also get a little bit less rice but honestly at the basic entry-level portion and you could probably share that and maybe a side item.

The coffee is fantastic, but the avocado toast is not to be missed. If you are going to enjoy your coffee onsite, ask for a “for here” mug.
