Wig-Wag Dog Grooming
32432 Alipaz Street Ste A, San Juan CapistranoWe absolutely adore Karen, the owner and groomer - she takes phenomenal care of our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (who jump for joy when they walk up to her door). Further, she's a wonderful human being who is honest, generous, and exceedingly thoughtful.
Do yourself a favor and swing by Wig Wag!!

Pet Care
Mission Equine Hospital
31441 Avenida De La Vista, San Juan CapistranoDr Watanabe & the whole team at mission equine are absolutely the best !!
As someone with a sensitive “on again off again” ottb I am SO appreciative of how thorough not only Dr Watanabes exams and visits are , but her communication w/ me. She explains everything so fully and instead of feeling embarrassed or guilty about asking too many questions -or for clarification , I just feel fully informed and totally comfortable. I never have to try and pull more details out of her.
I also feel completely at ease asking for prices and quotes - which I have felt so apprehensive about in the past.
One of the most meaningful things about mission equine is that they check up on how my horse is doing , regularly. I am able to ask them for advice on things I’m concerned about, where many other practices would just require an exam to get any info. This is a lot of time on their end and so appreciated.
Of course they’ll always let me know when an exam is the best route / what options I have.
I couldn’t be happier or more impressed.
Thank you Mission equine !! <3

San Juan Animal Hospital
32391 San Juan Creek Road, San Juan CapistranoFrom my initial call to my overall exam visit I had a GREAT experience. I used to take my other dog to other vets that just does not compare. Osiris was as sweet as can be by letting me schedule the appointment in 30 mins from when I called, and Renee the nurse was amazing also. Dr Kim was super professional and knowledgeable with our treatment plan for diagnosing what was truly going on with my dog and proposed to do what was necessary to take care of my pommy. You can tell the whole staff enjoys their work and that they want to help animals 💞

Pet Sitting & Training
Sit Means Sit Dog Training South Orange County
27184 Ortega Highway Suite 109, San Juan CapistranoWe knew with a Doodle breed we would be out smarted if we didn’t look into training. After the consult at Sit Means Sit we really felt like it was the perfect training program for Us and our Dog. We did the board and train to lay the groundwork and then had the one-on-one lessons to get us up to speed. Once we graduated from that we were off to group lessons and we truly can’t be more satisfied with the training program - it has surpassed our expectations - we would recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone!

K.O. Dog Training
34101 Via California UNIT 12, San Juan CapistranoMichelle is so kind and patient, she is a very experienced dog trainer. My German Shepherd is almost 2 years, which is perfect at home, but will bark and rush to other dogs when goes out. After first training class, the dog has become polite to any dogs and people. Now I have perfect walking and hiking experiences with my dog, couldn't be happier!?

K9 City Play 'n Stay
32967 Calle Perfecto, San Juan CapistranoIt was such a relief to be able to go away for 10 days and not worry about our dogs. The staff took excellent care of them and kept them together at night, which gave us peace of mind knowing they had each other.
Because our dogs have different ages and energy levels, we especially appreciated how the team tailored their care to each dog’s individual needs. It was clear that they paid attention to their personalities and made sure both were comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
We came home to two healthy, content dogs, and we are very grateful for the wonderful care they received. We would not hesitate to board them here again and highly recommend this facility to other pet owners.

OC Dog Sports
31921 Camino Capistrano #20, San Juan CapistranoWe have been huge fans of Dana and her team at OC Dog Ranch since bringing our Malinois/Shepherd pup, Indy for training. So it feels great to write a review being a client for the past two years. We were excited to learn these classes were beginning and we've been routinely scheduling appointments for the past several months.
We can see constant development of Indy and it's simply a joy to see how excited she is to go to class and how responsive she is to the tools and teachings. We've definitely learned as much about our unintended actions that might confuse Indy, to noticing and anticipating behaviors to keep her calm and feeling unbothered by any distractions.

The Zuri Pet Spa
32423 Calle Perfecto, San Juan CapistranoThe Zuri staff took amazing care of our Honey Bear! We appreciated the email updates and the dog-care camera, which enabled us to see that Honey was having a great time playing with the other pups. We highly recommend Zuri, and would like to specifically commend SJC manager Jane for her attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness to clients like us.

Orange Couny Pet Companions
San Juan CapistranoOC Pet Companions are fabulous. We had a lot of travel this summer and hired them to take care of our 2 cats. We'd recently adopted the cats in September of last year, so I really wanted someone who would make them feel comfortable while we were away. Ruth Ann and Star took care of our kitties (and our plants and mail, etc!) perfectly. I got regular updates and photos. The cats were happy and loved their visits. OC Pet Companions was also very thorough and courteous. It was great working with them and I'll be using them again and again and again!

Five Vines Wine Bar
31761 Camino Capistrano Suite 11, San Juan CapistranoI was at a conference Last month and a I mentioned that I was gonna be going to Southern California for a couple weeks. They told me that if I can get to San Juan Capistrano that I need to stop into the Five Vines Wine Bar and try their 20-year-old pork. They were not exaggerating. Unbelievably good. I also had a burger and garlic fries and if you ask for it, they’ll give you pineapple teriyaki sauce for the burger. 👍👍

El zarandeado sea food
31952 Camino Capistrano B3, San Juan CapistranoIssac was super good waiter. Shared a bit about the family business. I will be bringing my wife back for the fish that he recommended. This place is a gem but needs more exposure to Camino Capistrano. A roll up door would do wonders for their exposure to SJC.

Rosewood Social
31781 Camino Capistrano Suite 301, San Juan CapistranoFantastic experience at Rosewood Social from start to finish. Our waiter, Jacob, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely added to the evening. Manager Eric was equally impressive and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was exceptional. We tried four of the small bites, and the Wagyu dumplings and Bang Bang shrimp were absolute standouts. For dinner, the sea bass and black cod were both beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Then Eric surprised us with a salted caramel cake dessert with ice cream and whipped cream that was ridiculously good and the perfect way to end the night. Great food is one thing, but great service makes the whole experience memorable. Jacob, Eric, and the entire Rosewood Social team nailed both. We'll definitely be back.Smart, appreciative, but not like you swallowed a food critic. ?

Delice Breton
31451 Rancho Viejo Road Suite 103, San Juan CapistranoFive stars all around! The options are diverse and interesting, and once you're able to dive in, the food is divine. We had the California sandwich and some mini raspberry beignets. At first glance/taste, the food is excellent, wonderful blend of flavors with the honey mustard mayo and the ham and cheese and avocado on the sandwich, and the raspberry filling was sweet and wonderful with the accompanying powdered sugar and buttery pastry around it... but oh the texture... the bread was just the right crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. The beignet was nearly air it was so fluffy, with the slightest chewyness, and the combo of the powdered sugar made it feel almost liquid... couldn't recommend the food more, but then there's the service and atmosphere. In sorry I didn't get their names burr everyone was accommodating and attentive and wonderful to deal with. The shop itself is rather tight, but not in a constructing way, more homey, and offers outdoor seating, window seating, or somewhat reading room seating, where you can even pull up an available book while having breakfast and coffee, and if you're so inclined, you can buy the book. Great experience for something we just happened upon, worth the trip if you're able!
