“My wife and I took some time off together this morning to go to the Alpine Wells Fargo branch and open a checking account for her. Her first. I had even scheduled an appointment on-line two days prior. We arrived about 10-minutes late (absolutely not my fault). All of the Tellers were friendly about it and non-judgemental so our lateness was not an issue. Associate Personal Banker Sandra K. took us to a desk, and for the next couple hours we had an enjoyable time together while Sandra covered every imaginable aspect of a Wells Fargo checking account (and a savings account, which it turns out we needed), and overdraft protection, and debit card art, and personal checks, and automatic transfers, and PINs, and paper-free accounts. It was, without doubt, the most thorough opening a checking account experience I have ever had. And it was also calming in a zen way with pleasant banker company. I'm happy to recommend this bank branch.”

“I was just turned away from Chase Bank in Alpine ❗ It was only 4:10pm. They said they wouldn't have time to open an account for me. Come back tomorrow. Needless to say .... I walked out.
I proceeded to California Bank & Trust. The new accounts person ( Tammie) was busy, helping another new customer
So I had to wait a bit. I was worried they would tell me it's too late come back tomorrow . Like Chase had done. Not the case here.
With no hesitation, or attitude Tammie kindly took me in and set me up with the exact account I needed.
She was quick efficient & was there to answer & help me understand everything.
They close at 5pm. So I know she had to stay late. I'm sure she was tired and would have preferred going home at 5pm. However she stayed, helped didn't rush me. It was a pleasant experience.
