Pet Care

Crescent Animal Medical Center
1590 Northcrest Dr, Crescent CityAt this Thanksgiving time we felt compelled to comment on Doc. We've been visiting Dr. Mark since he came to Crescent City 15 yrs. ago. He's a friend after this length of time! We can always count on him to help with our fur babies: from being newbies to death, he's been there for us. We are truly GRATEFUL and want him to know it! He is more busy than ever with there being only 2 Vet's left in town. He can't give the clients as much gabbing time due to this fact, he is just so weighed down with so many pets needing help. We appreciate any time he can give. Just want people to know he's not being rude or anything like that: he's marvelous, he's just swamped and I think he figures its more important to give more pets needed care than spend time gabbing with owners. It's cool. We understand and are sooo grateful!!!!!
Thanks Doc!

All Creatures Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic
1380 Northcrest Dr, Crescent CityWe are traveling and are 3,000 miles away from home. Our pup was not acting right and we knew something was wrong. We showed up at opening and they did an emergency drop off appointment for us. They were able to ease our mind about one main concern and provided some meds and food to help our pup. The visit didn't break the bank and all the employees were kind and the doctor left a detailed voicemail explaining everything to us (we didn't have cell service). A written script was provided for her food and they've offered to send us an email script if further meds are needed for her condition until we can get home. When asked if they could email her records to our Home Vet if needed, they said no problem. Thank you All Creatures Staff and Dr. Wood, you guys are awesome!

Schmidt's House of Jambalaya
110 Anchor Way, Crescent CitySchmidt's House of Jambalaya lived up the hype and then some. Came here after a long day on the road from Yachats and a walk in the redwoods so we were hungry. While it was busy we were seated within minutes of arrival by, as we were to soon find out, one of the owners Jen Schmidt who was helping serve during the evening rush.
Ordered 2 of the signature dishes that started it all, fish and chips, crawdad and shrimp fritters, and a fried shrimp po’boy for four people. No one walked away hungry. The jambalaya was excellent, the fish and chips one of the best on our journey down the Oregon Coast, and my teenage son said the po’boy was solid.
The location is awesome and offers a nice walk along the beach to take in the sunset after a long day. Can’t say when we’ll be rolling through Crescent City again, but sure as rain we’ll be stopping here.

Enoteca
960 3rd St, Crescent CityOut of all the places we ate at during our visit to Crescent City this was our favorite spot. The food was soooo good. Burgers were top notch. The chicken pesto sandy was also 10/10. They had a fun band playing and it was the only place we felt in our element being from Denver.
