When I could find shoes I had to order them sight unseen and hope they fit. A 50-50 proposition at best. Generally in my life, the more expensive the shoe, the more they hurt my feet. Then I discovered Chic Wide Shoes. It's 30 miles away in Tarzana but I make the drive a few days ago. My existing shoes were in horrible condition, so I finally had to make a move. This time, when I went to Chics, they not only could sell me the wide shoes, BUT THEY HAD ALL OF THEM IN STOCK!!. I bought 3 pairs of training shoes (Propet and New Balance) as well as a pair of dress sizes (Florsheim). They told me they had just increased their stock dramatically. When I walked in, I was ready to make two trips (one to order, another to pick up). I did everything in on 30 minute visit. Boy was I glad. Amira and John worked with me, with great advice making sure I had the right shoe and the right size. Chic Wide Shoes is a great place. I will go to them whenever I need shoes.”

Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
