If you are a college student in LA (i.e. USC, UCLA, CSULB) they deliver groceries to you FOR FREE! Get your bourbon, maggi, and lays magic masala here and some of the best mangos and fresh fruit! Because they used to own a restaurant, you can also get freshly prepared food options here (with an option to have it frozen so you can buy, stock, and eat whenever you want!) If you are also looking to get events catered with snacks and refreshments, they are great! Whatever you are looking for, if you call and ask them, they are always willing to try to help you acquire what you need!”

However, the ambiance could be improved, as the place felt a bit musty, improving the cleanliness and reducing any lingering odors would be helpful.”

“Not at all related to the restaurant next door. The knowledgeable lady who worked there greeted everyone with a smile. I was hesitant to ask for help, but I’m glad I did! Apparently there are two types of black cumin seeds and she helped me get the right one! It’s unfortunate that she kept having to run out and ask people not to use her parking, there were signs everywhere to not park there unless your shopping here (tip: ask if you can pay to park there). One item I needed wasn’t in stock, but she quickly made a call and got me the tamarind powder. This is my favorite spice, produce, and snack shop in this area!I got a great tip on a juice to make snacks and micheladas …I think she knows Spanish, because the words she said in Spanish like tamarindo we fluent. A lot of Mexican recipes use a lot of the same spices.”

“The only place to buy groceries. Best meat selections with graded an non graded beef. Cold cuts are my favorite and the garlic bread is to die for on spaghetti night.”
