“They went above and beyond!! Fixed my windshield wiper in the pouring rain for free! When there was a backlog of cars. What?! There was a missing part the other shop couldn’t fix properly, and using some wire he was able to keep it on. It’s stayed on in use for over a year now! Also they replaced my brake drums after I drove too long with bad brakes. Very quick and direct about the issue, no fluff. Felt very honest. Thank you!! Your act of kindness in the rain during a hard time in my life will never be forgotten!”

“It was late in the afternoon, and no one was around myself and the attendance car were the only two automobiles on the property! He was cleaning the car wash area when I pulled up and went to the window and saw no one was there. I guess this wouldn't bother most people, but personally, I was put off by only having one employee to handle everything by himself. This station is on a busy corner in Castro Valley. I hope the company is paying him enough money to handle this job. Seems a little unfair to him.”

“It was a bit dirty when I showed up the 3of 5 times I went there. Not sure if it's just my luck or at that time- because it looks relatively clean, as in it doesn't look grimey.
Outside of that, it's what you'd expect of a branded gas station- decent prices on the go, good selection, and a friendly cashier.”

“New staff, i can see a big change of the interior, more clean and organized. Gas price is fair and everyone wants it, that's why it gets a bit busier sometimes and hard to get out, but guys if you need to save money ARCO is the best.”
“I was recommended to bring my car down after a trip up north to a natural hot spring for a thorough exterior cleaning. My friend recommended them because they have a $40 a month unlimited car wash membership plus discounted services like detailing and interior cleaning.
I arrived at 11:25 AM and was ready to roll off the lot by 11:45 AM. They did what would’ve taken me over an hour in exactly 20 minutes! That includes signing up for the membership and the actual washing of the car.
I’m glad that I made this investment because I will now regularly come down to have the car clean and feel rest assured that the quality and consistency of cleanliness will be kept. The team was friendly and worked diligently.
I highly recommend Splash Brothers car wash for anyone who wants an affordable way to look good on the road without the effort of pulling a bucket full of hot soapy, water around your car and wet up your clothes (unless you’re into that thing, then show up on a Sunday where you can self service with your own products and their amenities).

“Best car wash in the bay area. I usually pick the "Superior wash" with Tire and wheel cleaning 18.00$. They're always friendly and give you a pretty good hand wash while you wait to go in, and then afterwards they go over each tire and wheel and hand dry your entire car while they do it. Always deserving of a good tip in my opinion.”

“Easy, convenient way to get your propane tank(s) filled. An attendant is there to help you fill your tank. After they fill it up, they give you a post-it with the amount filled. Bring that into the shop and pay at the cash register. Cheaper than swapping tanks.”

“I just visit this Gas Station because of two facts: the amazing customer service and the very cheap gas price.The star missing in my review is because I was there and one of the pumps wasn’t working and didn’t have the sign. I went inside, I payed for the gas, and the guy told me: “Are you sure you want gas on number x.” So he wasn’t sure what was happening in the pump. Then I went out just to find that the nozzle was gone. I had to come back inside and I asked the guy to move my credit to another pump. I asked the one on the front for easier movement. “That one doesn’t work either.” So I had to move to another pump.Anyways, if you have time and limited money, go there. A peasant like me is very pleased to find this wonderful cheap places where we can survive in this tumultuous adventure of life.”

“It is so hard to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic these days! The owner is incredibly kind and even stayed a few minutes after closing to make sure my car was able to be seen on a Saturday afternoon. He took extra caution to make sure my Honda was parked inside following the influx of catalytic converter theft in the area. He quoted me a price 1/3 of what Honda planned to charge me- parts included! He was conservative with his diagnosis of the my vehicle. I'm happy to have a mechanic in the area I can trust with fair prices and good work!”
