Makes driving to Tahoe better! Also alot of cool shops near by, Note everyone who works at this Valero is Extremely nice and helpful, this is our go to gas station!

“This new store has all the convenience items you could need right in our neiborhood. It is very clean, well stocked, items are reasonably priced and the staff are professional and polite. The coffee is good and the soda machines have a decent variety of drinks in a large variety of sizes. The gas station part of the business is clean and well attended. I like the place and I think you will too!.”

“Our friend Mr Conrad below is a snowflake. They clearly say they don't take cash. All gas stations pre authorize cards for up to $100... No they didn't charge you $100 for $20 of gas, no there's no skimmers.

“Dropped my wallet while pumping gas. 30 minutes later I noticed it was missing & went back. Someone had turned it in & the Speedway attendant returned it to me.
WITH six $100.00 bills in it.

“Stop for gas as it was on our side of the street. Gas was lowest CASH price at this intersection. Can accommodate 4 cars for gas. Being a weekend it was VERY busy. Little chaotic, but not dangerous. Hubs said you have to peek in the store. First thing I noticed they had a restroom. Got the key easily. Clean bathroom. The mini mart is amazingly packed with all the things a road trip or quick stop on one's way home needs. All the fancy drinks. Lots of alcohol choices. Snacks! Large frisbee assortment. What?! Is there frisbee golf near by?”

“I love this little hole in the wall gas station. It's usually not busy, easy in and out. I went yesterday and everything is brand new and in excellent condition. The food mart has all the things you might need on the go and then some! Clean facilities. Nice and friendly customer service. My favorite gas station in Auburn. Highly recommended.”
“The people are great here, super friendly. Bring cash if you don't want to be charged a card fee. Double check the expiration dates on the food though, multiple times I've picked something up that was expired.”
“Grateful they have 100% renewable diesel. Wish they had biodiesel but that's becoming nearly virtually impossible to find. Only place around with renewable diesel. Also I recommend you get the app. Saves us $0.30/gal off of the posted price for renewable diesel.”

“Great gas prices, especially if you use Ernify. The bathroom needs a little facelift, but it's clean. This is our usual stop for gas on the way to Tahoe. It is cheaper to get gas here on the way up and back than to pay the 'Sierra prices' at the lake. We also get most of our shopping done up the block. It is a one-time stop for everything. Easy on and off the freeway, too.”

“i am updating my review from a year ago in 2022 to reflect the fact that recently they changed their pricing policies and are now in line price-wise with most of the other Chevron stations in the vicinity.I truly appreciate this and actually bought fuel there today. From back in 2022-This Chevron station routinely charges way more for fuel than other Chevron stations in the region. I fueled up at the Chevron on Sierra College Blvd in Rocklin at I-80 on 10/31/22 at 5.99/gal for premium and drove home to Auburn 12 miles away. As I passed this Auburn Chevron they were charging 6.79/ gal for premium...80 cents a gal higher. Almost always is 30 cents/gal or more higher in price to other Chevron stations.I've heard people say they charge this much more in order to gouge more profits from the Tahoe tourists who pass through Auburn on the weekends. Whatever the reason really is it is a warning to locals in Auburn to stay away as they are not being treated fairly by this local business that only wants the bay area travelers money. I severely doubt their fuel purchase costs could be this much higher than other Chevrons in the local region.”

“A breath of fresh air stopping in here late night. Upon my arrival their system was doing an audit & since my only reason for stopping was some ice water for my water vessels, Michael kindly allowed me inside to refill them. I returned to utilize the microwave to warm some leftover soup & proceeded to purchase some of their ‘fire’ coffee - which is absolutely 🔥☕
I won’t hesitate to return for additional late night necessities thanks to the customer service I received from Michael.”
