“Happened to walk into this place after taking my wife to Hotlix. One of her childhood vacation, happy memory spots.
Wow, being a older skater, I was blown away by thier old collection. Hundreds of deck. Completes at that. Great new board selection and tons of good remakes too.
I ended up getting a board gripped and had good convo with one of the workers, who was dope and had info about store history.

“Anthony and the rest of Ocean Currents are top notch! My wife and I took two classes through SLO Ocean Currents and took a boat to Anacapa island out of Ventura on the Raptor Charter boat. I highly recommend using Ocean Currents for your dive shop as they carry high quality gear. As broke college student, we could afford both classes and repair for my JBL set up. I have also re certified scuba tanks here!”
“Love love Athleta. Everything is B Corp- so I trust that it is substantially made and with fair labor practices. I love the quality and that I can wash and dry everything without worries. Athleta has clothes for my everyday and my office job. Honestly it’s all I wear to work. This location also has the best staff who are so kind and friendly. Other than second hand- this is the only place I am comfortable buying clothes from.”

“The Sports Forum never disappoints! About a month ago I stopped in Pismo before heading home and per usual made a stop into The Sports Forum. It was pretty early on a Sunday and at the time they were one of the few shops that were open. I began talking to the employee and lo and behold the employee was the owner. I mentioned to her that since I was a kid my family would make annual trips to Pismo and we always came into her shop because it was "cool" and wasn't like anything we had in the Valley. This tradition has been going on for 39 years now. I mentioned to her that since having my own son (9y/o) he loves to go in and check out the merch. He had been looking for a Joe Montana jersey and during this particular visit and the one prior, the store was out of stock. The owner was nice enough to ask for my phone number and said when they got a new shipment she would let me know. Well, she held true to her word and contacted me about a week ago. We conversed via text and I asked for shipping details, price, etc and she was gracious enough to ship me the jersey and it arrived within a couple of days. The point of this post is that The Sports Forum is unlike any other sports memorabilia store you'll fined in or out of the area. The fact that the owner went out of her way to contact me and take the time to ship me the jersey speaks volumes of her and her business. I'd shop here or contact the Forum before going to a large chain store (i.e. LIDS) for their uniqueness, hospitality and prices. Thank you again and we hope to pop in soon!”

“Adam from back east location in customer service was very helpful. I've been playing hockey since I was 7 and have played on a few state champion teams, and even played with the Road runners seminars league. Why did I bring that up? No not to brag about me.. but to brag about Adam. I wish I would have that type of customer service back then. I would have given a 5 stars...but they stopped walk in sales. Its important to be able to touch certain things. But it's California... not so big on hockey.”
