“So my opinion may be biased because I am a bit of a book worm, but I really like this location. The staff have always been super helpful and the place is always neat and tidy. My family and I visited to pick up some new books and take advantage of the sweet 50% off deals they had going on. At check out everything went smoothly, we paid for our stuff and just as we were about to leave the store associate that rang us up said, "wait, I'm sorry, but may I take a look at your receipt?" So, we handed it to him and just as he suspected one of the deals (buy 3 books get free tote) didn't ring up correctly and we had been charged for the tote. He made sure to check that all of the other deals went through and refunded the price of the tote. The entire time he had an amazing attitude and seem to genuinely care about the customers. He even kept thanking us for waiting while he corrected the systems mistake. We of course expressed how thankful we were because we probably wouldn't of noticed until we got home. This Barnes & Noble is a favorite in our book ?”

“I love this place! I’ve been going since their last location when I was just a little kid. The staff is excellent and the book selection is drool worthy not to mention the prices are always reasonable.I had to make a rule that if I want to go inside the store, I have to bring books to donate because there is no way I’m leaving empty-handed and my bookcase simply can’t handle that!”

My daughter attends the science class taught by Mr. Marty and she loves it! I even learn a thing or two when I tune into the class. Both Carolyn and Marty can answer any questions you have regarding homeschooling and curriculum, they even know which charter schools are better than others. Highly highly recommend this place to all parents”

Your kids or grandkids will be wearing it.”

“Where can I begin? Math has always been a struggle for us, my daughter never enjoyed math. I knew we needed to find help for her. Since joining with Mathnasium we've noticed that she has gain a whole lot of confidence when it comes to math. She enjoys coming to Mathnasium every week and continues to strive to do better every time. They offer a great reward system which gives her the incentive to reach her goals. The staff is also wonderful, my daughter has nothing but great things to say about them. Judy and Raven are fantastic, and they will keep you posted throughout our child's progress. I see such a big difference in my child, she has a totally different attitude towards math now. Thank you Mathnasium!!”

“Having noticed a number of bad reviews for this shop, I'd like to add my own impressions. The first time I visited The Book Shop was in 1995. It was under different ownership, if I recall correctly. The owner sold me two exceedingly rare first editions for a very low price. Perhaps this initial visit has colored my opinion of this establishment, which is favorable.Since then, I have shopped here on a couple of other occasions. The owners and employees have always been cordial and professional. As an avid book collector, I have visited countless bookstores over a span of four decades. “I like the new process for the bookstore now that it's operated by b&n. No more long rental lines and you don't have to put your backpack away anymore, but they still have the cubbies as an option. These last two semesters I've also noticed that the lines go by way faster than previous years. The employees are also friendly and usually ask if you need help finding anything. The prices are definitely on the high side, but if you plan your classes in advance, you can save for books a couple months in advance.”

“My husband and I have been going to this church since 2012. We lived close by in Glendora, and moved out near Jurupa Valley in 2013. We still make the drive all the way to Azusa for church...that's how much we love the teachings there and our church family who is always there for us when we need it. We love the coziness (we're not really into mega churches), so for us, it's perfect.”
