Desperately needed a smog and only had little time to get it done and they wouldn't help me because it was too close to lunch.

Never had an issue here, fast and friendly service. Make sure you car does not have check engine light on because it could cause an issue with the smog check. The wonderful state is making it more and more difficult because they pushing electric cars.
