“Took my wife's acadia there for an ac problem. The problem was diagnosed within 2 hours. Once the part was received it took half a day of repair but for a small shop and having to disassemble most of it and also work on other customers vehicles I'm not complaining. “WOMEN LISTEN UP! If you want to somewhere where you will be treated with respect, listed to and be given a excellent customer service go see Lee at Smith and Son! I had a year and a half long issue that my regular mechanic never figured out. When I reached out to Lee, he walked me thorough the whole process, gave me options and really made me feel like he wasn't going to quit until we figure this out. My car now runs like a champ and I'm a life long customer of Smith and Son!”

“Hello, I highly recommend this business. They're down-to-earth, honest, and they definitely know their stuff. If you go in for an oil change, that's what they'll do. No upselling, no games, no gimmicks. They even show you the dipstick so you know that your car now has enough oil. My Honda dealership never did that! Ha! The owner is super cool. I'm new to Bakersfield and asked him if he knew an honest windshield replacement company. He did, and they were fantastic! So make the trip up to NE BAK and give them a try, you'll be happy that you did.”

“Can't say enough good things about this place in one review! Took my short school bus conversion in for an oil change and fuel filters. Sergio and John were outstanding and beyond helpful. They walked me through everything and even showed me under the vehicle. I needed my batteries swapped and they helped me with that as well even though it's not a service they provide (not easy to do on a bus) half the cost of other places I was quoted at and just overall super friendly. Couldn't recommend them more!”

“I visited this service center three weeks ago for a coolant change. Initially, everything seemed fine until a leak developed last week. Despite living in Delano, which is a bit of a drive, the responsiveness of the shop was commendable. They promptly dispatched a technician to inspect the issue. The technician quickly identified and acknowledged the mistake made during the initial service. The following day, they efficiently repaired my 2017 Ford Fusion and even generously topped off my gas tank. A week has passed since the repair, and my car is performing better than ever. I definitely plan on returning to this shop for future services. See below from the initial leak to smoothly commuting to work, school, and back home.”

“I love to give reviews when I know I got top notch service. I needed an oil change and I had never been to any valvoline places before. I moved from LA-Bakersfield and back then I never went anywhere else but jiffy lube. However down the street from our new home is Valvoline and I said let's try it out. Hats off to Aileen & Jason they helped me out on 9/23/23 around 4 pm they were super helpful/welcoming/funny !!!!! Like whaaaaaat??? Fun?! In an oil change place?? Yeah it was and I will be returning just because of their excellent service. I wish I saw who was under my car lol to give them a thank you too. Keep up doing the amazing work that you do. It makes a big difference. 20/10 stars”

“My car had squeaky breaks, even though I had the pads replace not long ago. I felt that perhaps the other shop didn’t do something right or I was taken. Without disclosing this information I took my car to Clerou for a break job. They were completely honest and stated that all was well with my breaks. Didn’t charge me a diagnostic fee either. Not that they will work for free, but they are very honest and I’d recommend them without reserve. Had some very good conversations in the lobby too.”
