“I’ve been to this house a few times for fundraisers like Oktoberfest, Holiday Market and the Mother’s Day Tea. I’ve had a great time at each event. You can tell the house has been newly renovated and the courtyard is nicely kept. Each event is decorated differently, which I think is cool. It’s never the same.The bathrooms are nice too and I noticed there is a kitchen with multiple ovens and fridges for caterers.It’s a truly beautiful building which I’m sure has tons of history behind it.I don’t have a need for a space yet, but would consider this location for a baby shower or something. Parking is easy too!Oh, and my mom won a $150 bottle of wine at the Mothers Day Tea so best believe we’ll be back!”
“I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer in October of 2025. Currently receiving chemo and my hair was falling out in chunks it’s heartbreaking but part of the process to try and beat this. I was referred over in December to them and the ladies here were all really nice and helpful the grocery card helped me a lot since disability takes a long time to pay out. I’m very happy with the wigs I received and other gifts they provided. Thank you to all that have and continue to donate to Links For Life and their wonderful caring staff.”

“We've had many family reunions here over the years. It's a great option for large gatherings. Its fully fenced to keep children together, has space for bounce houses and swings. Restrooms, shade trees, outdoor kitchen area and stage. There are also themed booths you can set up different activities in. Great memories! Thank you!”

You must be a fool if you think they keep everything donated to them on-site, they'd have to have a massive facility just for storage. I've donated to them many times, and know that they move the donations to an offsite storage facility. Also, what do you think that they use to relocate these donated items, the Ronald McDonald mobile? C'mon, think with a bit of logic here, and quit spreading these hateful rumors based on bias assumptions. Seriously Liz, do better and be better...”
“This place is great! I took my son’s spider man bike to get fixed. I called every bike shop and they gave me the best deal in town. They have a huge selection of all kinds of bicycles a cool show room, and the most friendly staff I’ve encountered in a long time. Quick service & very trustworthy. He was very knowledgeable about potential issue before getting into it & was able to get it fixed very quickly. I’ll definitely be back!” Definitely recommend to my friends”
“Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly security and staff were angels. Super friendly and thorough. My client didn't have proof of address, other than an ID, but they accepted an address we dotted down on clients chart. Overall, and great and welcoming experience. “My Mom was with Hoffman 10 years ago and she graduated then 8 months ago we noticed a lot of changes and she was put back on Hospice. She fought a long battle and 3 weeks ago passed away peacefully at the Hoffman Home. From day 1 years ago she received excellent care and words can't express the love I have for them all. “This is a very special place where a person can go and get a hot meal or a good breakfast if needed they give out hygiene kits and clothing showers are available as well as some where some one can use the bathroom they are limited to staff so please be mindful that they are here to help but they alot of people to help but there is almost always some one that can help or atleast guide you to the proper services I WISH I COULD DO MORE TO HELP OUT BUT FOR NOW AT LEAST A GOOD REVIEW IS WHAT I CAN GIVE GOD BLESS”

“I have been getting vouchers to spay and neuter stray cats for many years. Please support Kern Humane Society with monetary and better items to sell in their store. Kern has so many stray animals and any help we can get to get them fixed is very helpful. I have had neutered or spayed over 50 cats now. Couldn't do it without vouchers.”
