“I pulled over tonight after I realized I was too tired to make the whole trip back to the Bay Area from LA.
Deborah was wonderful and quickly helped me get an amazing room near the office. I’ve always had a hard time falling asleep when traveling alone but it feels very safe here. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. I’m so happy I found this hidden gem for future trips.”

??️ The room was mostly clean, but some corners and areas could’ve used an additional touch up.
?? A separate sofa and a desk was appreciated!

?☕️ Breakfast is served by the hotel in the morning (6–9am). Simple coffee or tea (hot water) is always available in the lobby, which is appreciated.
?️? Accessible parking around the building. Requires a parking pass to be displayed on your dashboard that is obtainable at the front desk (no additional charge).

“Great place! Total blast from the past with a 70’s vibe. Everything has a very old school feel to it. Unlike most hotels, the rooms have a slider door with a balcony. Pool is large, hot tub is hot… palm trees surround the pool side court yard. Some highway noise on the highway 99 side rooms- which doesn’t bother me. Rodrigo at the front desk is awesome- Very kind and accommodating. Please keep the current feel of this hotel and don’t change a thing!”

“This hotel is relatively accessible from surrounding roads. The parking lot is easy to navigate with plenty of spaces for guests. With the occasional vagrant passing through the area, my husband and I were pleasantly pleased to see private security, manning the premises once darkness fell.
Our room offered a restful night’s sleep with a comfortable bed, but the flat screen television was more of a headache to work.
The guest bathroom offered both tub and shower options. Lotion, shampoo, and conditioner were available for guest usage.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.”
“I stayed here the night of 1/17/26 but almost didn't take the chance. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I took a chance since a lot of the bad reviews seemed hyperbolic and almost comical - gotta say, I'm SO glad I did!
The price advertised online was 118 and ended up costing us like 147 somehow, but the room was super clean, the guy at the front desk was nice and didn't charge for our pet after I asked about the price discrepancy so it worked out. Breakfast was just okay, didn't leave us wanting, but also didn't really impress. It kinda sucked to get a moving truck into the parking lot and had no dedicated parking for something larger than an SUV. Had to cross 2 lanes of traffic and pull through a gas station parking lot to get situated and the window of our room looked right at a Chinese restaurant but those are small issues, just something to be aware of.
I'd stay again if I ever found myself tired in Bakersfield”

“We have been staying here for almost a year now and absolutely love it here! The beds are sooo comfortable, they are pet friendly, Amanda and Amber are 2 of the nicest people we have ever encountered! They take good care of their guests and having worked in the hotel industry prior to my retiring it is not an easy job! But we have never felt so welcomed and that means a lot! The fridge is full size, wonderful stove top to cook on, and free wifi and 2 movie channels, so we couldn't ask for more being 60 yrs old!”

“Update: 2nd time here, I got a room with 2 queen beds, I loved it! Rooms were just fine.. AC works, TV channels aren't my favorite, so that was a bit of a bummer. I will continue to come back. I used the small gym for the first time. Unfortunately I will be leaving by 5am so it will be the 2nd time I have had to skip breakfast.

Cost: little under $200 for the night.
Had a pretty nice night here. We weren't there for to long, just a few hours. The front desk moves a bit slow but the guy at the front desk did a swell job. I was happy, the entrance can get a bit dangerous. What I mean is, there's parking but not everybody uses it, so you get a line of cars (2-3) who are still checking in and you might be stuck waiting in the street waiting to turn onto the property. It's a small entrance. Once you've got your room card/key, you can enter the parking lot by using your key and the automatic gate opens.
We had a Jet Tub, which was nice, very hot but looked like what could of been a tad bit of mold around some of the caulking. I can't say for sure if it was. All in all, I think the wife and I really enjoyed it. We also had free HBO, the room has heat and AC. I do want to say that it did smell like smoke a bit even though it is non smoking.”

I was concerned with the lower reviews and low cost, but pleasantly surprised by this hotel.
I stayed here because I wanted to use my Choice points and they had by far the best value. I was not expecting much, but all the essentials were very good. Everything was clean, good bed. Fast internet. Staff were friendly. Basic breakfast, furniture, and fixtures, but I wasn't expecting more.”

Love them all... they have really really nice rooms on the 2nd floor.. they only use those for out of towners workers an normal quite folks....it's so clean an quite u don't even feel like ur at the same hotel...3rd floors for the local Riff raff. 1st is for locals..

“So full disclosure I did not stop here, but I was passing through the area and I had just come from Utah and I needed to use the bathroom and the worst way this was the first place that felt safe and not sketchy that I came across in the area and so I stopped and asked if I could use the bathroom. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and very helpful. Let me use the bathroom. Everything was very clean and well taken care of and I appreciated that and also appreciated being able to use the bathroom.”
