“We love the Self Serve Pet Spa. Staff are so friendly. The wash stations are clean and supplies are very helpful. It is a great place. Our dog loves going there.”
“Best place in town for farm supplies and feed. Staff is exceptional, they are always well stocked and if they don't have something you need, they will order it for you. Hay quality is always good, and they are quick and efficient about getting you loaded up. I am always shopping for my horses, but they have products for all livestock, indoor pets and a good selection of tack as well.”

“Really great place for feed customer service is great. I've literally been going there since I was raising pigeons which is about 15yrs. I just got my daughter a chicken from there an I just thought it wouldn't last long but surprisingly that dang chicken is thriving!!! She started laying eggs an amazing production but she is free range so idk if that helps. The only thing I I would say is a little better lighting inside but overall highly recommend”
“I was very disappointed in theor lack of beta fish. I can't really comment on the rest as I was only there for the fish. I wanted to avoid their competitor but unfortunately that is where I ended up.
Previously though they were stocked with frozen pet food and I was please with the clearance on Halloween dog treats.”
“Best little feed store in bako!!! lamb ear 4 yer doggy and they have same biscuits as tecuya feed owned by Brenda in Frazier grandson is operating.,......this particular store is a gem....yes their prices can be expensive just watch the sales and buy the treats that aren't bully sticks buy single ingredient duck feet etc I have not experienced rude behavior here as in prior reviews I only buy doggy treats”
“5-20-25 My dog was stung or bit by something (I think) while I was at work, and it got infected pretty quick. I went to Grainery and after the first shot of antibiotics, I could see the difference. I made the mistake of not putting a cone on her, so she (my dog) made it a bit worse, but less than 6 hours after every shot, I can see an improvement/stop of leaking infection.. She literally has a hole from the infection and her licking it, but the shots have extremely slowed down the infection, and she's healing. I only wish I knew about this place sooner. Tell your friends and even strangers about this place!”

“This place is great just recently I visited to donate items and the vibes and the place are so warm and welcoming. It makes my heart happy to see these poor cat and kittens have a safe haven where they are safe and sound. This has become one of my favorite places in Bakersfield. The way everything is set up it's so adorable, these little cat houses and adorable cats roaming around is just so pure. I admire these folks for taking time to provide these innocent little fur babies shelter. Thank you cat people”
“I have Came here for 2 bags of chicken feed and 3 cages without any issue. The place is great and the staff is very helpful. There were tons of birds in the front and lots of baby chicks inside!”

“This pet store is a hidden gem. Tuck away off Rosedale Hwy is a pet store that my Golden Retriever loves. They always have in stock his treats, he loves the different fish products they have. They have a lot of good product with no fillers, they have toys, food, toppers. Thanks Fur and Feed!”
“The staff are in a league of their own. I’ve been taking Duke to this wonderful place for his food and care, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The staff is incredibly helpful and always goes the extra mile to ensure Duke’s needs are met. Every time we visit, they greet Duke by name, and it’s heartwarming to see how the entire team comes forward to say hello and show their affection for him. It’s clear they genuinely care about the pets they serve, and that dedication makes all the difference.”

“Had 3 of my dogs groomed at the same time. 2 were simple bath, nail trim by Morgan. She did a great job. 3rd was a my long haired chihuahua who is scared to death of everything. In 3 years, no groomer has ever been able to fully shave him, just a little bit on his rear. Desiree was able to fully shave him without stressing him out and was able to clean up his face with help from 2 other groomers. My only direction was to clean him up as much as possible without stressing him out. They did an amazing job and my pups were all happy.”
“Sharon is really knowledgeable in birds and there care aswell as really helpfull informative and nice she loves birds and I wouldn't buy a bird anywhere else her cages and birds are clean and healthy we put a deposit down on two hand fed green cheek conures who are sweet and fell in love with us and us them right from the start they are pretty birds we couldn't be happier we pickup the little critters in two weeks give or take when they are eating on there own and weaned”
