“I enjoy this pet store they have a large selection of animals. Mostly reptiles and birds. Even though they have many animals they still keep the enclosures cleanly. Some animals are taken care of better then others, but that is how all pet stores are. The main lady who works there is very nice, and will answer any questions you ask. I highly recommend this pet store if you want a pet or animal supply’s. I did see a mouse on the floor though. I don’t hold that against them when they have so many snakes. I have been multiple times and they are consistently clean.”
“I was very disappointed in theor lack of beta fish. I can't really comment on the rest as I was only there for the fish. I wanted to avoid their competitor but unfortunately that is where I ended up.
Previously though they were stocked with frozen pet food and I was please with the clearance on Halloween dog treats.”
“I have Came here for 2 bags of chicken feed and 3 cages without any issue. The place is great and the staff is very helpful. There were tons of birds in the front and lots of baby chicks inside!”
“5-20-25 My dog was stung or bit by something (I think) while I was at work, and it got infected pretty quick. I went to Grainery and after the first shot of antibiotics, I could see the difference. I made the mistake of not putting a cone on her, so she (my dog) made it a bit worse, but less than 6 hours after every shot, I can see an improvement/stop of leaking infection.. She literally has a hole from the infection and her licking it, but the shots have extremely slowed down the infection, and she's healing. I only wish I knew about this place sooner. Tell your friends and even strangers about this place!”
“This place is great just recently I visited to donate items and the vibes and the place are so warm and welcoming. It makes my heart happy to see these poor cat and kittens have a safe haven where they are safe and sound. This has become one of my favorite places in Bakersfield. The way everything is set up it's so adorable, these little cat houses and adorable cats roaming around is just so pure. I admire these folks for taking time to provide these innocent little fur babies shelter. Thank you cat people”
“They are a little high on some things but it’s a one stop shop vet banfield, then grooming and every pet of just about every kind of pet food collars leash s kennels and training for your pet I just love this place”

“This pet store is a hidden gem. Tuck away off Rosedale Hwy is a pet store that my Golden Retriever loves. They always have in stock his treats, he loves the different fish products they have. They have a lot of good product with no fillers, they have toys, food, toppers. Thanks Fur and Feed!”

We had just rescued a dog in Los Angeles..the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and warm, giving advice on food and treats. “I went to tractor supply for choice chop dog food 3 bags 150 pound total 2 boxes of peanut butter biscuits. Which helps keep the dogs teeth clean it will prevent sticker price shock when the vet charges over $900. OO dollars to clean the dogs teeth! The briskets come in different flavors the Dutch shepherds Females patrol my perimeter of my property on the night shift.”

“Had 3 of my dogs groomed at the same time. 2 were simple bath, nail trim by Morgan. She did a great job. 3rd was a my long haired chihuahua who is scared to death of everything. In 3 years, no groomer has ever been able to fully shave him, just a little bit on his rear. Desiree was able to fully shave him without stressing him out and was able to clean up his face with help from 2 other groomers. My only direction was to clean him up as much as possible without stressing him out. They did an amazing job and my pups were all happy.”

“I got 3 budgies from here, and my precious guinea pig. I’ve had my birds for a couple of months, and no issues. Double check and make sure the birds are clipped or not. One of my budgies was clipped, and I didn’t realize it until I got home (I prefer my birds have their beautiful wings so they can fly around). Not an issue though because my bird is beautiful and doing fine. Just letting her wings grow back!I’ve had my guinea pig for a week and we absolutely love her! Will probably be going back for another one so she can have a companion! Great place, and affordable!”
