I had a year and a half long issue that my regular mechanic never figured out. When I reached out to Lee, he walked me thorough the whole process, gave me options and really made me feel like he wasn't going to quit until we figure this out. My car now runs like a champ and I'm a life long customer of Smith and Son!”

“Let me just say, I don’t know where the negative reviews have come from. The people here have a heart of gold. My car was stolen, recovered by BPD, and towed here. I, like others, read reviews to see what to expect and was nervous because many people had negative things to say. My experience was very different than many.Christina in the front is super sweet and helpful. In a time when I was very emotional and overwhelmed, she was more than patient. She helped me with advice and with lending a listening ear when I needed to vent. I know that there may be a lot of cars here that are police seizures/impounds so I think it’s important for people to note that she can't really give you advice about those. Based on my experience, I’m sure she would help if she could. I feel blessed that she was nothing like the reviewers try to make her out to be. And you know what? Even both drivers that helped me by taking me to my car were incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. I do not have a bad thing to say about my experience with Barnett’s Towing.”

“Paul is a helpful and knowledgeable guy in his field. He helped me with my trucks plenty of times. Whenever my trucks come back to Bakersfield, they go straight to his shop, so they can get ready for the road. When my truck was in an accident, he worked on the truck and fixed it to the T. He even worked with my insurance adjuster on the issue. This place is highly recommended for repairs. If he doesn't have the parts, he tries to get you a good deal from elsewhere. My mind is in peace knowing the right stuff is in the truck. That is very helpful for my business to keep going.”

“We had a terrible experience with AAA and a local towing company tonight, where we waited almost two hours and a tow truck never arrived to help us. I frantically searched for a tow company and saw that Trinity had great reviews. My phone call to Trinity was answered by a human (unlike AAA), who was very pleasant, straightforward, and helpful. Within 15 minutes of my call, Juan arrived and towed my truck to the local dealership. Juan was incredibly helpful, he treated my truck like it was his own, and provided amazing customer service. Trinity is an example of a local business that knows how to treat customers right.”

I CALLED OTHER companies and there response was “ we don’t have tow truck your way so we can not service you apparently all other tow companies only service you if it’s close to them and some of these companies have a fleet of tow trucks. “First rate!! They gave me an ETA of 30 minutes & arrived in 25! Earlier Lewis towing was supposed to pick me up in 45-60 minutes. After 75 minutes, I called Lewis & they had no record of my phone call. Lewis put me on hold for 10 more minutes & than hung up on me. I was at the pharmacy getting meds after a stroke & was very stressed. Use R&P, not Lewis. Thank you R&P.”

“My Ford E350 lost power in the inside lane of the 5 before the Vista del Lago exit - at Pyramid Lake. I did get it off on the median next to the guardrail It was around 4 when I called AAA and they said 45 min. 3 hrs later and many calls, texts etc, a beautiful flat bed toe truck pulled over and the owner and his wife were incredible. He managed to safely secure my van on his brand new flatbed in the dark with Friday night traffic and zero wiggle room- and got us both back home safely. The conversation was interesting and relaxed and mostly about dogs since I’m a dog trainer. I can’t say enough good things about Valencia Towing. It’s a family business and their response time was 40 min max after AAA contacted them and they came from Bakersfield! They turned a bad experience into a BEST experience. She took my information and sent exactly what I requested, which was a lowbed for the vehicle I was driving. The IMMACULATE 10-West rig showed up and the driver was friendly and very cognizant of making sure not to damage the brand new fire engine I was driving. Their equipment is top notch and so was the service. “Adrian,thank you for your excellent service! I recently have my truck fixed and still has been giving me same issues ;I cannot get it to start. Today so I called AAA and requested for towing to same shop so they can recheck and fix the problem... Lewis Towing came so quick ,like in 20 minute they showed up.Adrian was very professional and polite ,did a quick diagnosis and analysis,and gave me options.He saw that the potts on the battery was filled with gunk so he took time to clean it then tested my batteries.Battery was alreay 4 years old and suspect that was the problem ,He gave me options :i can replace or i can have it towed to shop and get it done ,diagnose and pay more money . Adrian gave me a little inservice on how the car system works-alternator to batteries to starters,etc.I see that Adrian is so dedicated and love his job and his customers!Need to find more people like him! 5 stars for my experience today with Adrian!”

“I have to write this review. Normally I only want to talk about food and share what I think are great places for the traveling working man. God forbid you need a towing service while in Bakersfield call these guys. My daughter's car had a power steering failure and needed to be towed. In 31 minutes German was there meeting my wife and had the car on the truck in 10 mins on a busy street. I met him at the auto shop after hours and German stayed there helping to ensure we had placed the car in the best position for the shop to deal with in the morning. German was as authentic and professional as they come and I genuinely appreciate the follow through. Having car issues can be stressful enough so folks like German make the situation palatable. I highly recommend these guys and hope they have a few more like German on their staff.”
