Miller's Landing Resort • Boat Rentals
37976 Road 222 Wishon, Bass LakeHad a great experience on Bass lake on our pontoon rental! The process was quick & painless. Spending quality time with family is priceless so it was a fair rate for the experience. Staff was friendly & courteous. The only thing I would have to really nitpick is the girl filling up my boat with gas after we got back dumped about a quart of gas in the lake trying to fill it back up. Not sure if she checked our gas gauge or not before she started but, with the gas being almost $10 a gallon it would have been nice if she was paying more attention to what she was doing. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you to all the Millers landing staff!

The Forks Resort
39150 Rd 222, Bass LakeWe've been coming here since kiddos. Used to enjoy a big burger (the meal) and chicken strips with grandpa after a fishing trip or just spending the whole day out fishing or on the boat ? Oh the good 'ol days. Now i bring my kiddos and my family here every summer to make new memories. We love grabbing a bite and heading out to the docks and sitting down for lunch, or we may stop by and park the boat literally just right outside the restaurant. ? Definitely one of the best around the lake! Awesome boat rental prices!!

Jones Store
5S07, Bass LakeJones Store is a step back in time. This is a very cool rustic area up in the mountains. We made a special drive there for lunch and we were not disappointed. The burgers were delicious. The bread made the sandwich. I don't know for sure how they make it but it was some of the best bread on a burger I've ever had. I will say it probably wasn't the most healthy, but once in awhile we deserve a treat. A bag of chips came with a burger and they were your standard potato chips. You pick your soda or beer out of the old time propane refrigerators. I said that right. You don't see propane refrigerators everyday. We chose to eat outside and the views were awesome. It didn't take very long at all for our meals to be delivered to our table. After we got done with the burgers we decided to try the pie and that was pretty funny. I asked what type of pies they had and they said two types pie and no pie. They couldn't tell us what type of pie it was but they said it was good pie. We decided to try one and it came in a bowl. It had ice cream on top of it and whipped topping. The pie was good, although we didn't know for sure what type it was. It was either apple or possibly pear but the texture we couldn't really figure out. I guess only they know for sure. Overall, it was a great experience and a pleasant time with friends. We went on August 14th wearing t-shirts and shorts. In the shade. It was a little bit too cool and in the sun a little bright and warm. At a high altitude it can sometimes be cooler than what you would expect. Be prepared. Also, for all of you who are stuck on your telephones you will not have cell reception. Enjoy the moment! The electronic world can wait.
