5021 CA-140, MariposaUnexpectedly wonderful wine tasting with the owner. Walked in thinking it was a regular wine bar; but it’s a local wine shop with local tastings and a knowledgeable owner. Apparently he’s always here ready to talk wine.
Tastings are free if you buy a bottle - and we walked out with 4 great bottles (which meant 2 free and robust tastings.) Had an absolute blast, couldn’t recommend more.

Pony Expresso Coffee House
5182 CA-49, MariposaI ordered English Toffee Mocha and it was excellent flavor and the coffee was really good. We also ordered Carrot cake, and it was heavenly. They mentioned it was their grandmother’s recipe and I have never tasted a carrot cake as delicious as that, it was probably baked fresh that day, the cake just melted in our mouth, next time I’m visiting Yosemite we are getting that carrot cake ❤

A relaxing, western-style Brewery, the Beer selection are awesome, the staff was sooo nice and helpful. I could only recommend this place. If i lived in Mariposa, this would be my favourite place for sure.

If you are around Maripose, you should definitely have a short stop there to have a cup of coffee and enjoy some calm time there.

5040 CA-140 STE D, MariposaAmazing BBQ lunch. We travelled here from Australia and I absolutely loved the 3-Meat platter (Brisket, Pork & ribs with corn & JoJo Potatoes) some of the best BBQ I’ve had (& I cook and eat plenty of BBQ!)
The atmosphere was great & very clean & tidy & the staff were amazing - the chef even came out to ensure everyone’s meal was great! Super service & the most important part was the beers were amazing! 😬🍺

5114 Yosemite All-Year Hwy, MariposaAte dinner two nights in a row. Tri tip steak wa delicious but the mashed potatoes were the absolute best I have ever eaten. Second night I ate the tri tip salad. Husband had the smoked ribeye on night one and the mushroom Swiss burger the second night. He said they were both fantastic…and he has very high standards for his steak.

Good sizes, to many options just for one sitting ?, all cooked to perfection as a dine in or take out. If in town probably I'd not bother with any other restaurants in town (sorry for the rest)
