“I was on my morning walk with my pup on the hunt for coffee. I noticed this place so I went in. I was grated right away, given a free coffee and they gave my dog a cup of water and a treat. I got an iced pumpkin latte that was great ? the barista and the capital one staff were so kind to us. Thank you ?Vegetarian options: They have milk alternatives”

“I am the business owner of a 30 employee insurance brokerage. During the 2020 Coronavirus crisis, I was banking with one of the "Big Banks." I applied for a PPP loan on the first day that the SBA would except applications. I uploaded all of my documents immediately. I was given a confirmation email by the "Big Bank", but no other means of communication. After 14 days of attempting to contact the "Big Bank" in various ways with no response, I received an email stating they had reviewed my application. The email also stated that when the SBA replenished their PPP funds for a second round of funding, the "Big Bank" would submit my application. I couldn't believe that no work had been done. I later heard most "Big Banks" focused on their larger customers relationships first, not the small businesses that the PPP program was designed for. The experience was frustrating and I decided to look elsewhere. I contacted Chris Barr at California Bank and Commerce's Sacramento office. He told me he and his team would do everything they could to help support my business and get me submitted to the SBA in a timely manner. I sent them all of my information, they submitted to the SBA, and kept me well-informed throughout the entire process. Within three days of this process, I received my loan documents and was fully funded. The process was incredibly efficient and the experience went well beyond my expectations. Without the support of California Bank and Commerce, my business would be facing severe hardship. I am moving my entire banking relationship to California Bank and Commerce and look forward to building a long-term partnership with them.”

“I bank with these guys the staff especially management are seriously the absolute best when I have any thing I need to take care of.The only issue I have is there call center o.O wait times sometimes exceeds 2 hours one day I waited 5 minutes I thought it was my lucky day then the lady on phone refuse to authenticate me saying I can identify you which straight bs it works with everyone else it wasn't until she had to get a supervisor to help me which forced me to wait 30 minutes for one. Makes the DMV look like they have a fast pass.”

“I have been going here all my adult life, my mom worked for the county and that’s how I got it (u use to have to be referred). All my children now have accounts here, car loans here, we have moved with them, had their name changed with them, etc. I honestly feel they’re part of our family. I have NEVER had bad customer service. I have had employees go above and beyond on many occasions. I do not particularly like this current location (BUT I love the current employees in there at Century Blvd) however I do much of my banking through the app?. You all are doing a great job and I appreciate each one if you!???”

“You have a wonderful employee at the Walnut Creek branch. Angela has been a great help to me in dealing with my partner's estate. His son was the beneficiary of one of his Provident accounts and Angela helped me navigate necessary details to ensure the transition went smoothly. She was able to tell me how to handle the transition when I was still in shock from his passing. Her calm, cool manner helped me with the situation. “Pros:Customer Service person was so nice and answered every question I asked very well.Cons: After approving my new car loan and walking into the dealership to close the deal. the car dealership tried to reach the bank on couple of occasions without any succes.I would have said the dealership was not been truthfull because they were trying to have me finance with them. but I had already experienced it myself for the last couple of weeks. trying to reach the bank was so tidous not to mention endless attempts trying to log into my own account all in the name of some merger or update. I eventualy went back in to finance with the dealership for my peace of mind.This was a horrible experience”

“I am writing this review for their home loan officer whose name is Alan Morimoto I met him when he used to work with a different institution. I recently bought a house through him and he was absolutely amazing. Someone who is very honest and not hide anything from me and explained me the pros and cons of everything and kept it all transparent. Whenever I had a question or something I don't understand he was only a text message away and by the end of the transaction I was actually a lil sad that I won't be able to talk to him anymore or not as much. But I will always remember him in very high regards. And definitely recommend my friends and family or anyone who is looking to get a house must see Alan, working with him was hustle free and smooth. I would definitely try to see him once in a while.”

“This review is for Natalie and her amazing customer service. During graduation season I do a ton of money lei's and needed 50 $2 bills. I came in and this branch only had a few and some were pretty beat up. Natalie filtered out the newer ones for me and called 2 other local branches to track some more down for me! On top of that her nails were amazing and I asked her where she goes, let's just say I have been going to the same nail salon ever since.”

“i had a payment set for the 14th of july with a customer service rep to be taken out of my account.i called mechanics bank the day before and told the customer service rep i was not going to be able to make the payment until the following friday , The rep set me up with different arrangements and set it ** in her computer to be paid on the 22nd and when i woke up this morning even though i called the day before they still ran my payment through my bank . This is the problem with having different people taking care of multiple accounts . No one at this company does what they say but its always being told that this conversation is being recorded . Thats a joke they dont listen . I had the pleasures of speaking with 2 managers that also couldnt answer my questions why? do you guys listen to your clients . Well in my opinion this bank ***** and there reps dont listen . and their managers on duty dont either . pretty funny how they can take your money on second and now i have to call my bank dispute the charge and play the waiting game .They give excuses why they cant refund your money . Well alls i got to say to future buyers is Find a different bank to finance your loan with this bank lies and dont help you when they s**** up”

He was able to guide us through the process and I couldn’t be more thankful. He is very knowledgeable and was able to help us, despite my moms unique situation .
