“So much more than a hardware store. The convenience alone makes this store so great. You’ll find everything you need for hardware, tools and gardening, but also tons of cookware and other basic household items. I just wish they stayed open later!”
20 El Pueblo Rd, Scotts Valley CA 95066
“Such a wonderful business - so lucky to have them in the valley! They just dropped off a load of lumber to my house and I have a really awful driveway and the guy (wish I got his name) navigated it so well! He got a little stuck but worked so so hard to get the truck out never took a break. The hardest worker I’ve ever met! I know how stressful situations like that can be and his attitude was so positive and he was great to work with! Thank you! And we will of course be back!”

“The store had just had their soft opening when we were in... Beautiful store! They were still stocking, but looked like they were going to have a nice selection of inventory”
110 S Santa Cruz Ave, Los Gatos CA 95030
“Generally a nice location, good selection, and friendly helpful staff but they can’t seem to make keys. I had some keys made last year, they didn’t work, I went back two more times and still none of them worked. I gave up and had them made elsewhere. I didn’t think much of it until one of my coworkers today mentioned they also had similar issues getting keys made at this location.”

“Gorgeous selection of plants indoor, outdoor, veggie starts, herbs, etc. Prices were fair and everything was easy to find. Staff pretty much ignored us, which is fine because I didn't need help finding anything, but one employee was watching me struggle to maneuver my cart around an enormous garden hose that was in the middle of the store posing a tripping hazard. She didn't try to move it or help at all. So not the greatest staff in the world, but the plants! Tons of varieties of sages and California Natives. Will definitely be back.”

“Meeting the team here, you can tell they care about their business and their customer. A friendly staff with a knowledgeable background of all the needs for building. I definitely recommend!”

“Fantastic Service and a True Partner for Our Project! We sourced all the materials for our backyard and front yard project from Central Home Supply, and they were outstanding. Their pricing was fantastic—they matched and even beat quotes from shops over the hill. The real value, however, was in their service. Being local, they offered just-in-time delivery, which saved us a ton of space on-site. When I made a mistake and misordered several crates of wrong AB blocks, they were incredibly helpful and fixed the issue without any problems. A huge thank you to Reed, Manny, and Oscar for being so accommodative and ensuring our project stayed on schedule. I definitely recommend them!”

“The good people at the Ace Hardware on Soquel Avenue are the best! I had a BBQ delivered and found it wasn’t working properly (or so I thought!). Without hesitation they sent someone to check it out and lo and behold, he got it started. I was unaware of a little “trick” to getting it started (see me blushing). Josh was so sweet and wouldn’t take a cash tip for his trouble no matter how much I tried to give it to him. I highly recommend this store and will definitely do business with them in the future. Thank you!”

“It's like Disneyland for cheap Dudes like me. Seriously, he has a ton of shtuff used tools and also a little bit of new. Good people good conversation. “I’ve had nothing but great positive experiences with everyone who works here. Always getting the help I need and almost always find the products I’m needing. Recently, I received help from Ellie who’s customer service was absolutely amazing! I felt very lost finding a particular tool and she went above and beyond to help me find the best solution, all with kindness and patience. Thank you Ellie! :)”

“Yes. I'm someone who's also looking for welding equipment in this area. Since I remember the time when I fixed one dumbell in my Cabrillo College R.O.P. welding class back in 1986. I even fixed my own stainless steel lunchbox and hockey sticks in my Cabrillo College R.O.P. welding class as well. It's right where cessnone house is. I'm someone who's time traveling back to when was it the best of me.”

“Ace in Boulder Creek is a really great store for home improvement, repair, and everyday household needs. Every time I visit, I am impressed by how well the store is organized and how easy it is to find what I need. They have a very good selection of materials, tools, hardware, garden supplies, paint, and many other useful items for both small repairs and bigger projects. It is the kind of store where you can come in for one simple thing and still find many other helpful products. One of the best things about this store is the customer service. The staff are friendly, patient, and always willing to help. If you have questions about materials, tools, or which product is best for a certain job, they take the time to explain and give useful advice. That makes a big difference, especially when you are working on a project and want to make sure you buy the right item. The store is also very clean and well maintained. Everything looks neat, the shelves are arranged nicely, and the whole place feels comfortable and professional. Shopping there is pleasant because it does not feel messy or confusing. You can tell that the store is managed with care and attention to detail. Another thing I really like is that the store has a local and welcoming atmosphere. It feels reliable, convenient, and much more personal than a big anonymous store. Whether you need building materials, tools, or supplies for your home and garden, Ace in Boulder Creek is a place you can trust. Overall, I highly recommend Ace in Boulder Creek. It is a clean, well-stocked, and well-organized store with excellent service, a great selection of products, and a very welcoming atmosphere. It is a wonderful place for anyone who values quality, convenience, and helpful staff.”

“This place had me in and out within 15minutes on a 60lb jackhammer. BY FAR, FAR, best rental place ever. Paperwork, breeze. Deposit small. They trust you here. Go to United or HDepot and they'll ask for fingerprints, IDs, 300 deposits..and usually take 45mins. Dont go anywhere else, family owned since 1974!!”
201 Front St, Santa Cruz CA 95060
“Way better service than lowes or HDepot..prices a bit higher but worth it for helpful workers. Also right within City, truly local. Had everything I needed, which was extensive, and out the door w in 5 mins!!”

“I highly recommend San Lorenzo Lumber – Felton to anyone looking for a company who offers quality top brand materials for building needs! Specifically, I contacted the Felton San Lorenzo Lumber store for guidance and tips for my new rebuild after losing my home to the 2020 CZU Lightning Fire. And, upon contacting this specific store, I was introduced to Shannyn “Shay” Moore…such a beautiful and kind spirit! Shay has literally held my hand through the process of finding the right decking and handrail materials. What I can honestly say about Shay is that I love her positive attitude…she is not only no-nonsense, but she has a undeniable knack for knowing how to meet your needs without added stress and anxiety. The ideas, guidance, and tips that she provided me has been exceptional! Shay really goes the extra mile! And, by the way, the Felton San Lorenzo Lumber store will deliver your materials and products! You will be lucky to have “Tim” deliver your materials/products; he is so personable, kind, knowledgeable, and friendly – which made this so overwhelming rebuild process so much less stressful. Happily, I can say that this entire process resulted in receiving the personal attention that I have so much appreciated and required! Thank you, Felton San Lorenzo Lumber…Keep up the excellent customer service and provision of quality materials and products!!! So grateful!”

“I stopped by the Ace Hardware in Felton and it’s one of the nicest hardware stores I’ve been to. The whole place is brand new, super clean, and really well organized. The coolest part is they have an actual ice cream counter inside. You can grab a cone or a cup, or just pick up a container to take home, which is something you definitely don’t expect in a hardware store. They’ve got a great selection of stuff, a really nice garden center, and it wasn’t crowded at all when I went. The staff were also really friendly and easy to talk to. Overall just a really solid store. I’d definitely go back, even just for the ice cream.”

“Purchased a two seater cloud couch a couple years ago. The staff was attentive and great at explaining everything without pressuring us. Fast forward to this year, we were having trouble with the couch and cushions and when we stopped by to let them know, and the staff took care of us without hesitation and ordered replacement pieces for us. That’s all star service. That’s why I’m happy to pay more for product from a company that takes care of its loyal clients. They truly are the Apple of furniture.”

“Who can complain? Home Depot has what you probably need. However, this Home Depot does stand out for exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The downside is that it is a smaller one and is often out of things you came for, so you will often find yourself driving to the Watsonville store.”
