“I rarely write a review about anything. I think the only other time I've been on Yelp was to complain about a car dealership pre-Covid. This time it's to praise the quality of the shoes The Walk Shop offers. I have many shoes from your store and I'm ALWAYS pleased! Two days ago, I realized I have a trip coming up and needed a new pair of comfortable black, semi-dress shoes. The only store I even considered going to was The Walk Shop! Once I arrived, in less than 10 minutes, I selected several different options, tried them on in my size, made a decision and was done with my purchase. Turns out I needed them for an event yesterday, too, and ended up having to do ALOT of unexpected walking and tons of going up and down stairs. NO PROBLEM!! My legs weren't even tired and I'm almost 67 years old! The right shoes make ALL the difference! And I swear that your prices have barely increased in the last few years. Even if I'd paid more, they are worth every penny! A GREAT value for an excellent look and comfort! I'll be back!”
“More than a shoe store! I went in for a pair of shoes and walked out with exercises to do at home. The owner Craig (a physical therapist) and his assistant Luis evaluated my gate and leg strength…they fitted me with the best shoe for particular problem and taught me some exercises for strengthening my hips and stretching my calves. Apparently the workers are pre-med which explains the high quality of care I received. I just did the suggested exercises and lo and behold, my hips hurt…I had no idea they were so weak! They explained why. Anyway, in my entire life I’ve never been walked into a shoe store and walked out with so much! And my shoes are super cute too!”
“I love this shop. It's my neighborhood place to go for everything I could possibly want when it comes to shopping for new clothing, shoes and accessories. I love popping in at least once or twice a month. When I visit, I like to survey the store and I always seem to find something new or what I want. The merchandise is of quality brands , with trendy and unique items that make it the boutque it is. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful, and are a long time buiness. I kind of consider them a neighborhood institution. They are a huge anchor in this distric. One of my go to's.”

“A cute little store. They don't have a huge Birkenstocks selection but that's okay. They also don't repair Birkenstocks but that's okay....
This entire review is for the employee that waited on us. I have been in this store several times and I've never felt very welcomed there. Until this last time I think it was mother's Day. She helped my sister try on shoes and humored us as our mother ...did what mothers do ?
I really appreciated her professional attitude and kind demeanor. The few times I've been in this store it's just been stuffy and quiet. This day there was music and good vibes and I enjoyed it. If I didn't live so far away I suppose I would give them my money.”

“My girlfriend and I came in a few days ago to find her some new shoes for work. She has high arches and has a hard time finding shoes that provide all-day comfort. Karen helped find several options and we ended up getting the Dansko Poppies. They have helped my girlfriend so much! She’s able to stand for 8 hour shifts with significantly less pain. Grateful for Karen’s expertise and kindness and highly recommend this place :)”

“I've visited this store many times. I bought a hoodie, a sweatshirt, a waterborne and a duffle bag. The prices are reasonable. You can buy clothing with logos and without. They've got makep, shoes and jewelery. Its a great one stop shop! The staff is friendly and helpful.”
“I came across the bows and arrows website when trying to find some stüssy shorts, they were 40% Off and when you include shipping were actually cheaper than buying them in the UK!
They arrived from California to England in 6 days, and I am so happy with what I have bought!

“Standard & Strange is a must see for anyone who’s into high quality menswear items with an emphasis on heritage wear. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the brands they stock are quite rare (many coming from japan), and the experience has always been so great every time i’ve visited. “these guys are very cool and their reasonable with the returns. I had a situation where my mother was Hurtt and I went to visit her long story short to stay put me out over my return. But the manager working there was kind enough to return the item, of course the item had tags and was never used and I’m sure they had all kinds of customers for the jacket, but the point is that was cool of them”
