Went in today with the intention of buying a new racket and left with one in hand without being oversold and overwhelmed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their game or get back in the swing of things.
On top of that, Tom is fun and easy to talk to. Definitely check out his shop if you need anything court related, whether you’re getting into the sport or well seasoned.

“What a great local spot to pick up some running shoes. The man who worked there was so helpful, he answered all of my questions about what shoe would be best for my needs, and provided help on sizing. He was very patient and pulled 5 different pairs of shoes for me to try on. In the end, I found the perfect fit. Will be back for my next pair!”

“Hands down best experience I’ve ever had in a store. I walked in at random waiting to tour Pacific Pipe next door. I asked Victor about shoes that are good for standing on concrete for 10 hours and he proceeded to walk me through the aspects of shoes to pay attention to in the range from soft to firm mid soles and brought out 6 different pairs for me to try to get an idea of what I like. He honestly said he cared about people getting shoes they love even if they find the color they want from somewhere else after trying them on here.
I left with a surprise pair of Hokas and invitation to join the community and running clubs. It was such a great experience I immediately went to Lake Merritt and ran for the first time in a long time!
I am definitely a life long supporter and happy to find more wonderful community in Oakland.”
“I purchased 3 suits from the San Leandro Durant square location. So far very pleased. Only issue I've had was thar 1 of the last suits I've purchased from them for the Ricky Henderson Memorial. The trousers zipper is faulty It keeps separating. Just haven't had the time to see if they can repair. I ll be visiting them soon for a black tie affair in December. Hopefully I can get the trousers repaired before then.”

“I had an issue with a shoe size I bought in store. This place isn't for low income shooters, it is was not expensive than I might normally go for but I wanted solid strong shoes. I was able to get them replaced after 2 days. I'm disappointed that they tried to unplug my feedback after only 2 days and a request for exchange one”

“I was hopelessly looking for a place to try on cowboy hats for an upcoming wedding (didn’t even know my size) and this place was great. Hundreds of hats to try, at lots of different price points and styles. Got several opinions, and am now the proud owner of a great hat life-time hat. LOTS of other great finds too, had to actively restrain myself. Genuinely lovely time.”

“I would like to let people know that this store is wonderful they have a large variety of sizes and styles literally something for everyone . I had previously been there when there was a different Mgr have to say I never had a problem but I witnessed a couple incidents that weren't right. That brings us to now the employees are SOOO much better they're friendly and extremely helpful they make you feel welcome and like they enjoy their jobs I had the pleasure of meeting Alexis (ass mgr) ,and Larissa (sales clerk ) both so nice and helpful really I can't say enough. Big change in the environment i will be going allot more often and recommending my friends to go. Thank you Rainbow upper mgt for the great upgrade.

“Stopped by this spot in Oakland and had a great experience. Picked up a pair of Birkenstock clogs, went with black… and of course, classic me, started overthinking it later that night. Realized I already have way too many black shoes and needed to switch it up.
Called them the next morning fully expecting it to be a hassle, but the owner was super chill about it. Really kind guy, let me swap them out no problem since they were unworn.
Appreciate places like this that actually care about the customer and don’t make things complicated. Definitely coming back.”
