“I ordered $87.00 worth of food. I ordered a large container of Lechon, large container of Pancit, large container of rice, some lumpia, three containers of Pinakbet, and some fresh vegetables and calamansi. Everything was so fresh and so amazing. ( I did wait 15 mins for the 1.5 lbs of fresh Lechon). Being from Hawaii, I have really missed this kind of mom and pop Filipino Restaurant/ Market. They also have all the Hawaiian Sun drinks I grew up with in Hawaii. I have been here three times and it is always excellent. It is worth the drive. I use to drive to Mira mesa and I won't, never again. (I have also tried the place in San Marcos and the food tastes like it has sat out all day and it was over priced and they have small portions).”

I got the turkey avocado which is made with fresh roasted turkey and your choice of bread- recommend the squaw, it's soft and nice flavor. can order half or full sandwiches but always manage to eat a full. Inside and patio seating options. Grocery inside offers fresh pastas, sauces, drinks, cheeses and more. Reasonable prices too. Excellent go-to deli!”

I mainly go here for the fish, but I've visited to buy some lumpia and sauces as well.The way the fish counter works is you pick your fish and hand it to the fish cleaner behind the counter in the back. He hands you a ticket and you go to the front to pay. Return back with the receipt and collect your cleaned fish! You also have the option of them frying your fish for a fee - which really hits the spot on those warmer days.Highly recommend it here.”

“Folks, this fruit stand is an absolute gem in San Diego County! I only wish there were more of them. If this were Florida, there would be an enormous billboard on the highway advertising this establishment (Next Exit, Fresh Fruit!). However, this place is easily missed unless one were exiting onto State Route 76. The fruit is fresh, and the honey is absolutely great. Locally sourced, it would be hard to find a selection as good as this one. Remember, this is a mom & pop fruit stand, so they may run out of your favorites or they might not be in season. Also, cash is king in this type of establishment so please don't "ding" them if they don't accept Apple Pay. Now that I know they are there, I stop by whenever I'm on I-15 and passing Rt. 76.”
