“They do a reliable job. But they do take a while. The lack of a lounge and their location makes it kind of hard to figure out exactly what you are going to do when you drop off your car for an oil change.
The most important thing though, is that I can count on them to give me an accurate inspection of my vehicle. The shop is pretty clean, which gives me the confidence that they are organized. They have not let me down so far.”

“I took my Lincoln into a dealership due to a red engine light. They said it would cost $700 to fix it. I went to Brea Brake and Radiator and told them what the dealership said had to be done. They asked if I wanted to have them check it out before doing it. I said ok. They said that the service suggested by the dealership was not needed, fixed the engine light and I have not had trouble with it since. Needless to say, this is where I am now taking my car.”
“Now days you'll find a lone honest mechanic working at this place among the hot rods and classic cars. There is so much Detroit steel on grounds that it's worth coming down just to see the cars. I came here with a problem they couldn't fix but they didn't charge me to tell me that. I give this place five stars because I honestly wish I could come down, knock back a few beers, and talk cars with the owner.”

He was professional and really managed my tire needs well. From what I saw with other customers and telephone calls, he was consistent in his mannerisms and provided great service. “Really helpful. I came for a free inspection because my car was shaking when I drive high speeds on the freeway, and I previously had a flat that I fixed on my own but then that same tire got another nail in it. Long story short, I was needing to replace that tire. My others were almost due to be upgraded anyway, so they gave me 4 new tires for their buy 3 get 1 free labor day sale. They also gave me a discount on the tire alignment. Probably could have paid less at other places, but i feel confident driving away knowing they took care of what needed to be done in a professional way. And I like that if anything happens to the tires I can come and they'll replace it or fix it free or for small charge. Thank you!”

“Caliber Collison repaired by car after I was hit with a flying object on the freeway. My hood and windshield require repair, and the windshield had to be ordered from the factory. The staff was very communicative and made the entire process really easy. They even returned my rental for me. After a week or so after getting my car back, I noticed that my windshield wipers were a little off. I called and they had me come in the same day and had them realigned and working perfectly within 20 minutes. Everyone was so nice. And my car looks like my accident never happened”

“Had my RAV4 serviced today for oil change, tire rotation, all filters changed, all wipers changed and brakes inspected. Was kept up to date on my service and completed on time. Very reasonable cost. Very happy with their service.”
“They sent a tow truck to us and it took awhile to arrive. When the man checked under the hood with all his equipment and couldn't locate the problem via his attachments he then asked for the keys and inserted them repeatedly ( 6 times) into the door and then he started the engine up immediately. Who knew the kill switch was directly linked to the alarm? Sure made us believers. He apologized for our wait and we told him we heard there was a lil traffic jam on hilltop and L st due to an accident and not to worry. Just very professionally savvy and polite to apologize for his late arrival when it was beyond his control. Nice kid.”
“I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment across the street for mounting and balancing. I dropped the car off at 8:50 a.m. after being told it usually takes about an hour. Hours later, the work still had not started. I went back around 12:20 p.m., the car was still sitting outside, and they then said it would be another hour.
I took my keys and went to Big O Tires right across the street. They took the car immediately, put me in line, and completed the job. No runaround.
Yes, Big O charged a little more. It was still the better value because they did not waste half my day. Mounting and balancing is not a huge job, but an appointment should mean something. This shop treated it that way.
If you need tire work in Brea, go to Big O Tires on N. Brea Blvd. I will come back here.”
“This place is very busy most of the time. I came on a Friday around noon and got service right away. They were able to get my tires changed in around 40 minutes. Great price, a little unorganized but had a good experience.”

“I had a nail in a tire that only had about 5,000 miles on it. I took it to a few different tire shops, and every one of them told me it couldn’t be repaired because it was too close to the sidewall. Instead, they wanted to sell me a new tire.
It didn’t sit right with me, so I stopped by Community Tire for a second opinion. They took one look at it and told me not to listen to the other shops because the tire was completely repairable. They patched it for free and wouldn’t charge me. I gave them a little something anyway because I really appreciated their honesty.
It’s refreshing to find a business that isn’t trying to sell you something you don’t need. Community Tire earned my trust today, and they’ll definitely have my business when it’s actually time for new tires. Honest people and great service. I highly recommend them.”
