“A great mechanic is not hard to find -if you’re reading this review. Henry at Xpress Auto Service is one of the best. I don’t make a lot of money so I can’t afford a new car payment, I have three older cars each with over 200,000 miles. Henry and his mechanics keep them on the road! My first experience with Henry was needing my air-conditioning fixed on my 05 Yukon. I went to two local mechanics each had the exact same estimate, about $1800. My brother that lives in Fullerton suggested Henry. Although I live 70 miles away from him, I gave it a shot. Henry’s estimate was $1500, as he saw that I didn’t need all of the parts suggested by the previous two mechanics. After completing the work, Henry said that I needed it even less than what he thought. My total bill was $1200! After that, this was the only place that I will bring my vehicles to and suggest to my friends!”

“One of my tires was losing air constantly and I didn’t understand why. We checked for like nails but we didn’t see anything. So my boyfriend recommended this place to me and they were able to help me out. We did actually had a nail but it was embedded where we couldn’t see it. “Quick story: My AC on my Mazda 6 was acting up by blowing warm air when it was idling and cool when it started moving again. Took it to a highly rated Shop 1 around Fullerton, they apparently did a UV leak test and found the culprit was a leaking Evaporator Core and it was going to run $2400 to repair.
Moving forward after calling other repair shops, Raven's actually listened to my symptoms and what I wanted replaced and the guy behind the counter (Alex? Employee that was from Bellflower) immediately told me the symptoms didn't line up with a leaking Evaporator Core. Raven's did a diagnostic testing on the AC and after seeing no noticable leak found out that the secondary radiator fan was unplugged and notified me nothing needed replacing for the AC system.

He’s even waited after closing hours just to make sure I could pick up my car — that kind of dedication is rare! Dario and his team are incredibly trustworthy and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.”
“By far the best mechanic shop in the area. I have been taking my 1995 F150 and 2016 Subaru Outback to them for a few years now and their work has been excellent with a fair price tag. I usually work specifically with Cesar, but no matter who you work with at Pops & Son’s, the work they do will be excellent.
Some work they have done for me: new suspension and updated existing suspension, transmission work, transmission replacement, spark plug replacement, ac repair, fuel pump replacement, differential gasket replacement, wheel bearing replacement, CV axel replacement, breaks, intake manifold gasket replacement, clutch replacement, drive shaft / steering column repair, alignments, lift, oil change, and much much more.
There is no shop that I have ever trusted and respected more than Pops & Son’s.
Note* - To the person who will one day write a post saying these guys are “over priced” - you could not be more wrong…In my opinion, they are under priced for the quality of work and customer service they provide.
