“Fleet Feet is the only local place I trust for running shoes. Their employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. Their shoes are of the highest quality and the reps do a great job of being patient and fitting you with the best shoe for your needs.”

“I stopped by this Vans store last night to take a look at their skateboards while waiting for my friends to arrive to eat dinner. I never been to this Vans location inside Burbank mall so I wanted to check out their skateboard. They were not busy at all for a Friday night so when I walked in, I was the only guest inside. They have some nice skateboard collection on display and also skateboard accessories. I also checked out their shoes and clothing that they had. The store isn't that big but it doesn't have to be. The staff are nice and friendly if you have any questions”

“I would shop here with confidences. i’ve been coming to shop at this location for my wardrobe for years now, A place like this doesn’t last 5+ years in the industry selling knock offs.”

“We needed a yearly parking adventure hiking pass. I called around. Big 5 is the only place that had them. I went in and Pedro helped me out. They are quick and the line moved fast. They are fully stocked with sporting goods, reels, shoes and anything else needed for sports.

Pedro showed me options for the pass. I was going to get a day pass for 5.00. We are going to hike a lot more than 6 times this year. The yearly pass is 30.00.

I highly recommend Big 5 for the prices and variety of in stock options.”

“Anyone who knows me knows that I have... shall we call it... an "affinity" for shoes. (I almost typed in "infinity". Imelda Marcos really didn't have much on me...)

I love to make them. I love to wear them. I love to own them. There is a caveat: They must both be fashionable AND comfortable. There's no shoe worth wearing if it's uncomfortable.

One of my colleagues had been urging me to go check out this placed called Cydwoq Shoes that makes and sells shoes - in Burbank of all places. But that's when I was living in Hollywood. And Burbank - well, that was over the hill and too far away except for very well-planned and intentional excursions.

Fast forward several years and I find myself living in North Hollywood - right next door to Burbank. (Now, excursions to Hollywood are very well-planned and intentional...) I kept thinking about going to visit Cydwoq. But since my mind is run by squirrel sightings (I'm a bit busy, and my attention is constantly being pulled by other matters), I kept getting cydtracked...as it were...

Today, being my last official day by myself (kids are in school, spouse is at work, I return to school on Monday), I had some time this morning.

First, I had to remember the name of the place, because, honestly, though I like the name, it is a bit unusual, and doesn't make me think of shoes. Nor is it a name that my mind sticks too. Having said that, once I dug deeply into my brain and the almighty Google, I called them up, and they just happened to be open today from 9 am to noon.

I looked it up on Googlemaps (long gone are the days of the Thomas Brothers Guides). Lo and behold, it is only 3 1/2 miles away... I could walk... (I didn't.)

Nestled away in a bit of an industrial area just north of the Burbank Empire Center (which we frequented regularly while living in Hollywood to go to Lowe's and REI and other shops - guess I could have made more of an effort earlier...), I entered the showroom to see some of the most amazing shoes with tons of character that I've seen in awhile. And from the showroom, you can see them making shoes through the windows that reveal the factory in the back. Right here in Burbank, CA - making and selling shoes, both online and in person.

First thought... I'm in trouble... Second thought... Show me the shoes... Third thought... Where am I going to put these shoes? Fourth thought... Squirrel...

Of course, some shoes came home with me. Not only do they have great character, my feet are extra happy because they have an equally great fit.

If you haven't checked this place out, you owe it to yourself to do so. The shoes are amazing. Equally amazing, the folks that work at Cydwoq Shoes. I'll definitely be back!”

“I had an important event coming up and couldn't decide on what accessories and heels to wear and Gabriela was a huge help! She was really kind and helpful, even though I could sense she was busy. I got so many compliments from people, and I will definitely be back here. She made my day!”

“I came in on 10/04/25 in the morning and the two guys working here were great and very helpful. I got a new pair of boots and I am very pleased with my purchase. They felt and look great.”

“The 5 stars is for the fit and comfort of the shoe brand. The service is ok. The shoes are aprox 100/200 each pair. I've been wearing my sandals for at least 5 years - so that's like $40 a year which isn't bad. They are sooo comfortable. I've climbed mountains in Mexico in these sandals. Wide feet, plus size shoes. Shoes for old people- this is where it's at. I'm in hospitality, so on my feet up to 10/12 hours a day. They hella ugly, but super comfortable.”

“I stopped by Tillys tonight because my wife wanted to check out the store. I been to this store before but like years ago. The store is spacious inside and they look like they have some good deals on shirts. I looked at their sunglasses selections but I didn't see any Oakleys. I also looked at their tshirts but didn't see anything I like. This store is in a big plaza so you'll find parking here with no issues.”

“They have a fair selection of shoes. I bought some non-slip work sketchers. The associate that helped me was Eric and he was super chill and helpful. Good place to shop adidas, nike, sketchers.”

“I had a few returns. Everything went smooth the 3 gentlemen working were very nice - we even laughed a little. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because one worker came in talking to the young man that was helping me, i spoke to her she didn't speak and was not very welcoming she didn't even smile... she half looked at me.”

“This store has excellent choice and great service, but bare in mind that at the time of this review they had fitting rooms open on only weekends. Also they accept return and exchange only! with actual paper receipts.”

“My wife and I stopped by this store while inside Burbank mall because she wanted to look at their shoes. The store isn't that big but they had a good amount of shoes on display. When we walked in, we saw only 1 lady working but she never approach us. There was another customer inside the store as well and she didn't approach them either. My wife like some of their shoes selection but not enough to buy them. This store is on the second floor near H&M.”

“This place has the best customer service. I was helped by a beautiful girl name Kenya shout out to her, she went out of her way to accommodate my shopping needs and got me the kicks I wanted. Definitely recommend this place.”
