“I've been coming to Mr. Mazda for about a decade. I also bring my daughter's car here. I have nothing but praise. They always go above and beyond. Last month, Pat taught me how to change my own tire, and he even showed me how to use my portable air pump for a solo road trip I was taking. Once, on my way to pick up my daughter's car, I realized I had an issue with one of my rear lights. They pulled my car right in and fixed it on the spot. They always go above and beyond to listen to my concerns and address them. Their customer service is excellent. If you've had a bad experience with their customer service, I'm inclined to think you are more than likely the problem. Thanks Mr. Mazda for the stellar service all these years!”
“got oil changed and had some issues with car. Was wondering when car was going to come back so i called a couple times and the older dude was nice but the younger dude had a bit of an attitude. i dont use window wiper fluid much and i ran out not even a year into when i took my car in. Usually, by one year since topping off fluids I still have enough. It ran out around the 6 months mark so I found it weird. After they supposedly fixed my car issues, probems came back up and took it to a local shop saying it had the same issue.”

“Great shop with very knowledgable staff and mechanics. It's difficult to find shops who will work on early water-cooled VWs, so I was very happy to find these guys, and they did a great job at a fair price. They did engine and fuel injection pump timing on my 83 VW diesel pickup.”
“Bay Area Motors is the only place I let touch my German cars. They kept my 2008 Audi A6 running years after it should have died. I take my replacement Porsche Macan S, bought after William at BAMW, brought the Macan S to my attention when my Audi finally died. BAMW is not cheap but it is very fairly priced, I have had William tell me that I didn't need specific things done and he undoubtedly saved me a great deal of money over the 15 years that I have used his service. He is the one thing that is far too elusive, an honest car repair service.”

Dave the owner is honest, transparent, and very efficient. He successfully diagnosed an intermittent problem in our 2009 Toyota that the big dealership couldn't detect or fix. He fixed the problem methodically, quickly, and for a fair price. Great experience, and we will use them for future auto repair needs.”
“My first time bringing my ‘22 4Runner into the shop and I was very pleased with Auto Tec and whole experience. Their communication and updates were great and they replaced my front/rear brakes and rotated my tires for a fair & reasonable price and got it back to me the same day. “I had the RCI skid plate package installed for my new 4Runner and worked with Thomas to schedule. Had an awesome experience, the flex function team is very kind and professional. They’re very responsive to commutation too. The transfer case plate crossbar was bumping against my OEM gas skid plate and exhaust and the team went above and beyond to trim the plates for me to prevent any bumping and rattles. I would definitely recommend this shop!”

“It's great to have an independent shop that is knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the cars they repair. Equally important, Adam, the owner of Kirkwood VW, is honest and doesn't upsell or push other services or repairs that aren't required. I have a 2011 Tiguan that needed a preventative replacement of its timing chain tensioner. (there was an extended warranty from VW on this, and the car has less than 50k miles but is too old to qualify. When it fails, you wind up needing to replace the cylinder head, or potentially the engine due to the camshafts jumping timing.) The job requires removing the engine mount and I don't have the special holding tool to do the job correctly and safely, so I called around getting quotes on the job and picked Kirkwood to do the work. I dropped the car off at 8:00 in the morning and the car was ready the following morning. Adam did the replacement at a very fair price and exactly what he quoted on the phone - half the cost of some of the VW dealers in the area. I couldn't be happier with Kirkwood VW.”

“Came here to see Simon, after being recommended to him for his expertise in Audi's from a friend.
My 2013 Audi S5 had an engine error light, that Simon diagnosed to be a very badly damaged sport differential... Not good news at all.. but Simon was quick to assure me that he would do some research and help me get it fixed and replaced properly and professionally, and at a much better price that Audi would quote me.
Sure enough, not only did Simon help find me a genuine Audi differential and get it installed promptly and professionally, he did it at a MUCH lower price than Audi had quoted me!
Simon continued to remain in contact with me via text, and calls throughout the eentire process and always kept me up to date on every step of the way.
When I came to pick up the vehicle, Simon was extremely thorough and detailed in explaining all the work he did and even took me into the garage to show me my vehicle up on the lift. Further describing in detail everything and showing me the old and damaged differential.
I cannot recommend this shop enough! Simon is an extremely knowledgeable, reasonable and friendly mechanic! I will continue to come back to his shop for years to come!
