“I had ordered a few suits online for an upcoming meeting and decided to try on the jackets in-store to get a feel for the two different colors. I was heading to the mirror room and Ryan chose to accompany me although he really didn't have to.
Ryan engaged by making light conversation while I tried on my jackets and as we got to chatting, he revealed that he used to work in Washington DC and offered his opinion on the two suits I had purchased. I was grateful for his opinion as I am usually going it alone and ended up selecting a suit and getting it tailored with Nordstrom instead of with my usual tailor. It is a nice addition that Nordstrom also presses the suit for you after tailoring.
After we had finished all that I had mentioned to Ryan that I was in the market for new shoes and he was very helpful in recommending some dark brown options to accompany my navy suit, as opposed to my usual black dress shoes. I do think the dark brown looks much better and will be purchasing a pair.
Overall, Ryan made my experience at Nordstrom Topanga wonderful! We got a lot done in a short amount of time and I am ready for my meeting. Thank you, Ryan Faden!”

“I stopped by this Gap store after visiting the Gap kids store which is connected to this store inside. I didn't realize they were the same store until I walked out of the Gap Kids store and right next to it is the regular Gap store. The store isn't that big because it's sharing the adults and kids clothing. So when you walk in, the men's jeans are on the right and the women jeans are on the left. The prices are higher here than other places but if it's your style and you like it then that's what matters. The staff are friendly and helpful if you have any questions. A lady worker asked if I needed any help but I just told her I was browsing.”

I love Vans, always have, and the store located in Topanga mall is top notch. I shop here regularly and the customer service is always "off the wall" (see what I did there?) :-) Anyway I MUST give a shoutout to my girl Pearce who hooked it up with some new kicks and even laced them for me! “My first time at this store and I loved it! The clothing and accessories are gorgeous! Unfortunately, we encountered a disturbing experience with a robbery at the mall. This review is for the staff at this store location. The way they handled the situation and made sure we were all safe was so amazing! Emily took charge the during the entire time and made sure we were all okay! While everyone in the mall was screaming and running out, she put herself in harms way and locked the doors and directed all of us to the back for our safely. “Natalia in the women's shoe section is so phenomenal. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding and I needed my shoes approved by the bride. I could wear only nude or gold heels. She must've searched the entire department, brought me EVERY option, spoke to the bride on FaceTime about specifications. She had the most positive attitude and not once complained, and she would've been warranted to complain! She is an amazing employee, amazing at customer service, and she helped me with the impossible. She found a show for me that met all the criteria, was comfortable, and looked great on my feet. “Came here so my partner could get some clothes. They had some pretty good deals and the shits he got were nice and light not too heavy at all and had a great vintage look to them. He also got some shorts that were on sale. The come to find out store manager was helping us check out. She was so nice and was really friendly very inviting. I never been here before, but I can definitely see myself coming here when it's my time to get some items. Great atmosphere”
“I stopped by this Abercrombie Kids inside Westfield Topanga Mall today while my wife was at a store across looking at purses and jewelry. We are expecting a baby girl so I wanted to see what kind of cute clothing they had. They had some decent ones and I came right when the store open so there was no other guest there. A worker approach me and asked if I needed any help but I told her I was just browsing.”
“I made 11am reservations at NM Cafe before the restaurant permanently closed. I invited a dear friend to partake in ordering my favorite lunch entree consisting of orange mousse soufflé with chicken salad mixed fruit and blueberry muffin. My ultimate favorite are their complimentary pop overs and chicken soup ... the best! I'll miss Topanga NM Cafe and will have to trek over to Beverly Hills cafe to experience their wonderful popovers!”
“I stopped by this Zumiez store location to look at skateboard. They had some nice board design here and the lady working the counter there was very helpful in answering my questions. I also looked at some tshirts design they had in the store since they looked nice. They had some deals going on but nothing grabbed my interest to purchase them. They also have some watches and sunglass in the store as well. Another worker greeted me when I walked inside the store and asked if I needed any assistance. I told him I was just browsing so he let me shop in peace.”
“Let me start off by saying I shop here SO much and absolutely love their clothing. The reality is, at times some clothes simply don’t work out and you have to return or exchange. Aritzia is known for their strict return policies and tbh I was hesitant to return some jeans that simply didn’t fit right for me once I tried them on at home because managers beforehand would still give clients a hard time even after the fact that was explained. BUT I want to say it was a refreshing experience yesterday with the associate who helped me, Victoria. Not sure if she was a manager or not but she definitely displayed leadership qualities and should be if she’s not already! Simply put, she understood the value of a customers experience, honored the return and was empathetic about wanting the customers to me happy. She was gracious, polite and warm. In the long run THIS is what counts and keeps customers coming back. Thank you Victoria! ?”
