It was my first custom suit and Jaime walked me through the process with an enthusiasm that gave me confidence in my design choices. It was such a pleasure working with him, that I had a few additional fitted shirts made and custom ties for my groomsmen. Jaime took his time to make sure every detail was perfect. I'm looking forward to my next suit.”

“Ten out of five stars for Melynda and her all volunteer Quirk crew for creating the People's Free Boutique in an unused corner space in DTLA, providing much needed, intentional, and high quality clothing and supplies for those of us who lost everything in LA's January fires. My family and I came to Quirk and were welcomed with care and respect, mirroring the quality and thoughtfulness of the clothing offered, and being given the dignity of choice to dress ourselves in clothing that we prefer.
The Quirk crew were professional and kind, dealing with a gradually melting down child and frazzled adults, recognizing and validating the collective trauma of their guests, and providing a space of hope, solace, and care out of the goodness of their hearts.
I was able to restock much of my professional and casual wardrobe, grab some high quality toiletries, kids clothing, and an epic penny board for my kid. I cannot recommend a visit to the People's Free Boutique and Melynda's Quirk store on 9th enough!”
“Im from OC so it took me about an hour drive to get here. There’s limited street parking but theres also a parking lot ($20). It was like a 2-3 minute walk to the store and as soon as I stepped foot in here I was greeted with a warm welcome! He asked me if I had any questions and went straight to marveling at their extensive variety of exotic dancewear, box lingerie, and SHOES!! I felt like I was in stripper heaven with all the options available. Staff were so quick to help me out and answer any questions, one of them even helped me try on some shoes and I felt like Cinderella lol. Definitely come by and shop here, i’ll be back soon! ??”

“This place is one of the better places to buy Skechers shoes compared to their regular stores. This is because they have many specials and one of the specials they have at this location compared to the regular stores which is always available is the buy one pair get the second pair for 50% off and they have an extensive clearance area. I was able to purchase two pairs of slip-ons Skechers that normally sell for $75 to $100 for $24 each. However, the buy one pair get the second pair for 50% off. Did not apply to the clearance items but the selection was outstanding. Exactly what I was looking for in the standard colors that I normally get for $75 to $100 but for the mere price of $24 so I end up with with a better deal this way than buying a pair for 75 to $100 and gave it a second pair for half off. They've got a huge parking lot. Easy to get in and out. Plus if you sign up for their club you get points and I had enough points to get $5 off my total price.”

“THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL! I've been a customer and seller at The Curatorial Department for three years now and what Wendi has done to the store is frankly amazing. Like, the place lives up to its name, as every inch of what would be an ordinary storefront has been curated into a sensorial experience of some kind, worth stopping by just for itself.
And if you are shopping, the clothes are extraordinary. It's a little bit like a vintage dream closet, where absolutely amazing garments by beloved designers are collected by the dozens. Hundreds? Probably a thousand or two. Anyway, it's awesome to behold, a tour through decades of fashion where everything's for sale at judicious prices.
And fr, would my wife be rocking that Issey Miyake suit if we hadn't come in here that one day? The answer is no, and we'd be worse for it because she looks amazing.
Business-wise, I have found Wendi to be straightforward, honest, and no bullshit. She's just a pleasure deal with.”

“My hat is off to the team at Nickel And Dime Skate Shop. Long story short, we don’t have much of an aggressive inline skate shop in Las Vegas unfortunately. I haven’t skated in about 23 years and recently got back rolling, however I have been having a hard time finding skates or making the ones I order offline comfortable, if they even fit. Alan took his time with me today and I didn’t feel rushed and also allowed me to try on some skates and also some liners in the skates that I brought in that I’ve been trying to get Skate-able/comfortable since July, Alan gave me all his years of input and in the end I got a few things and will be skating the boot I want with a new intuition liner that he recommended that took away the pain on a pressure point I was having, the krew put together my new setup with the liners, frames and wheels I purchased, which was much appreciated. The four hour car ride each way from Vegas was well worth it, along with making some new friends in the community! Thank you to Alan and his team!”

She went above and beyond, taking the time to FaceTime with me multiple times so I could truly see the detail, craftsmanship, and fit of the dress. That level of care and transparency made such a difference when making a decision from a distance.
What stood out most was her commitment to finding a solution. When the dress didn’t have the right size in the top, she proactively reached out to the designer to explore options to tailor it appropriately- doing everything she could to make it work for me.

“Beyond exceptional shopping experience this past weekend with co-owner Bo. Not only is she knowledgeable about styling, her passion for curating my store experience is part of why I was compelled to write this review. I found the store on a whim while handling errands in the area and happened to need a matching outfit for my spouse and I for an upcoming event with little notice. Despite our size and style preferences she was able to match us with beautiful peices, tailored them on the spot and had us ready in less than 2 hours. I'm not sure if we're exceptions to the rule or if this is the normal KUTULA shopping experience but I'll surely be back with the rest of my family.

So first of all let me just say that the customer service is beyond top tier! I have never in my life been treated so well while shopping! Pilar is chefs kiss! She did her big one when it came to helping me find the perfect dress! I said I needed help and she said say less sis!
