And also my turkey sandwich was awesome. If you're in the village for lunch definitely go see Berto at the deli counter. Tell him the Wolfman sent you. “Best sandwiches in town! Good selection of Marianne’s & now Revival ice creams too. Kaseys is more like a little market than a Grab/Go. Remember what the first Trader Joes was like in Pasadena when it was a just a little shop on Arroyo? Before they became our supermarket overlords? Yeah, it’s like that. Lots of delicious & fresh local foods & pantry staples. Friendly staff too boot!Great coffee but service peters out for fresh coffee around mid-afternoon. Which isn’t specific to here as it goes. Fresh cookies from Peninsula & Lupitas which is great to find locally rather than having to trek over the hill. And the sandwiches, dios. Arrive before noon for best selection. Yum.”
