“Looks great! Clean with lots of equipment and not too crowded. Nate hooked me up with all a free pass to try the facility for a week. Really looking to trying it out all they have to offer! :)”
“OTF has its pros and cons.
Pros:
1. It's a lot of fun. The staff, coaches, and members make it fun, and the surround sound music keeps the energy up. The whole vibe is fun. I need that because working out is not fun to me. There are also events throughout the year to help stay engaged.
2. Never worry about not being able to execute a work out. As long as you book your class early, you have guaranteed equipment. No planning a leg day or an arm day and then having to modify your plan because the equipment you need is in use. You always have your own tread, rower, resistance bands, TRX, bosu ball, y-bells and set of weights.
3. The black and orange color scheme is cool.
4. No planning your workouts. Just show up and follow the workout template. Easy.
5. You can measure your progress, by challenging yourself. Pick heavier weights, ran faster, increase your speed or power on the rower. You can gradually see yourself get stronger. Feel better and stronger.
Cons:
1. Heavy Cardio focus and very little resistance training. There are weight only classes daily but there are not as many as the standard workout template.
2. You can Plateau quickly, so no need to go everyday. Taking breaks help. 2-4 classes a week and changing the frequency up helps.
3. Joint paint. It's a lot of running so power walking from time to time helps take the pressure off your knees. I also take tumeric supplements lol.
4. The workouts can become repetitive. However I do see the effort when they release new workout templates. The changes are subtle.
5. Very little focus on Core exercises. But then you can argue all exercises utilize the core.
Overall I think OTF is a great option for anyone that hates working out like me..and needs the motivation and guidance to workout correctly while having fun. Also good for beginners that need the coach to help correct form and technique. First class is free. You may become addicted.”
“Great gym for kids and adults. I started training myself but after seeing great results in about 3-4 weeks I ended up enrolling both of my kids. Since then they have gotten in really good shape and enjoy training with their friends from school. They offer morning and evening classes and there's also open gym available as well. I would definitely recommend this gym for adults, and kids if you want to get in good shape.”

“In-Shape always smells nice and is very clean. The best part of this gym is the staff. They are always friendly and welcoming. Whenever I go to the gym and check in, I enjoy chatting with the staff, especially Raina. She was working on the very first day I went to this gym and has remembered my name ever since.”
“I have been working with Dylan Williams for about 5 months now. I followed him to Rocklin from Arden due to his care for my training. He is focused on me and my well being; not trying to make me look like him or be someone else. I was having some elbow issues and he referred me to Lea for some deep tissue massage and stretching to help with the issue and that is helping. I was very impressed the last time I showed up as they were working together to make sure we were all on the same page with what my issues were and what they were seeing. I really felt like I was getting personal care and a program designed around me and my issues. In-Shape is lucky to have both of them on staff. I could not be happier with my progress and they are giving me the tools I need to address what I want to improve on.”
“OK, I didn’t do gyms for a loooong time? Mainly because I didn’t like the factory/warehouse feel of chain gyms. I feel lucky to have found a place where I get fitness that fits my level. Convenient times.I’m doing a small group personal training with Dan! He’s such a fantastic coach ? Also love the cupping offering here, bruh ?. It’s different than others I’ve tried. Lots of class options, including yoga! I highly recommend this woman-owned gym! Super queer friendly too! ?”
