“We rented a truck for $19.00 for 75 min and they didn't play any games or try to charge extra. Employees were extremely kind and helpful. Will definitely do it again!”

“Very shocked to see the reviews so low, this home depot is down the street from my rental property. I've been renovating it , so me and the workers have been becoming good friends lol. I was practically living in this Home Depot lol. I honestly can't name all the workers but I know that I've had keys made, bought tools like a sander, nail gun, jig saw, I've bought baseboards , paint, countertops carpet, I've dealt with the workers in customer service in which only one person I was NOT a fan of, older woman whole vibe was very rude, I believe she was a supervisor or a lead, very dismissive and again rude, but again didn't steal my joy because y'all have certain mangers for reasons, in which the manger did handle my situation, in which she could of done the same if she took the time to look at my receipt. I'm thankful for all the workers that took the time to give me new ideas or different approaches to my do it myself jobs. Ryan was most helpful, he was very knowledgeable on many departments. Also when the countertop installation made a mistake on my order, he stepped in to correct it. Savannah ,& Valarie was very helpful as well.”

“JC delivered our lemon trees and was wonderful! She was so friendly and went above and beyond. She gave us great recommendations for not only the lemon trees, but other plants in our backyard. She even made a second trip same day with additional items we were needing. Thank you JC!”

“Local gem. Been on the hunt for a place like this, and I finally found it. They have a diverse selection, actual RARE finds, with the knowledge of many lifetimes. My new favorite shop. Prices are fair, but the quality and care of the plants are top tier.”

“As my boyfriend and I were out on our anniversary trip we came across a bonsai vendor on the side of the road. We've always wanted one and were quick to pull the trigger on this 20 & 4 years old Juniper bonsai! After some research we started to doubt the health of the 20yr old. We knew we needed a professionals help. Did some more research and boy was I lucky to have came cross Dirty Locus and have contacted Ron. He is one of the few public Bonsai specialist in Sacramento. First off, his garden is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. He has dozens of different kinds of bonsais (indoor/outdoor). He was so kind the moment I called him up, and up to the moment I left his garden. Very eager to help & teach the way of bonsai growing. He was very insightful & thorough with every question I had. I was very skeptical of being able to care for this tree at first until I heard his reassuring words. He helped assess the problems it had, then shortly had me on my way to begin my own bonsai journey. I did pay for a 30min consultation then paid again for the supplies and work he did to re-pot the big one. He offers classes if you'd like to learn more which I thought was so cool. I am very thankful for his help!! If you are interested in starting your own journey this is the best place to start. No doubt about it. Or come take a tour of his garden!”

“Very pleased with the fast service and low price for the high quality products I received! This is my first time ordering from this company, but not my last! Not only did I place my order online, but the price of the mixing pans I ordered were well below price that other 'big store's had to offer! AND that included the delivery -- TO MY FRONT DOOR! and in mere days! I ordered on Saturday afternoon and received my pans early afternoon on Tuesday!Wonderful email alerts and correspondence for my order confirmation as well as shipping tracking. Exceeded my expectations. This is the kind of service I had forgotten existed. I look forward to future purchases from this store.”

“Stopped by just before closing today and the dudes were very accommodating and never even mentioned they were close to quitting time. They have a great selection of saws and climbing equipment for arborists. This may be my new place to kill time and spend money when I'm in the area or if I just need something. They gave me a free pull cord for one of my saws without even asking for it. They answered anything I asked about and genuinely seemed to know what they were talking about and didn't try to over sell or overhype anything when they definitely has the chance to push the sale. Stihl, Husqvarna, and Echo were all on display from climbing to the biggest baddest chainsaws offered. Great selection and I really like being able to hold a saw before ordering or buying it. If you love chainsaws and climbing then go here first. Not saying the other shops in town don't have the good products, just that you won't be let down by starting here. Been back several times and I haven't been let down. They always come through and if they say they are going to get something in tomorrow it's. Damn near 100% it'll be there. For me, as a tree Climber and chainsaw addict, this is the best place I've ever been to for my needs.”

“We have ordered bark from a couple of different companies and were never satisfied with the product until we found Roundtree Rock & Garden. Their deco bark had very little additional, unwanted materials and the bark all had nice size and color to them. We have used them a couple of times for deco bark and it has always looked great. We also used them for 3/8" pea gravel and were very happy with the product. As an added convenience, they deliver for free if you order over ten yards. The delivery driver is very nice and makes the whole process easy. I would highly recommend Roundtree Rock & Garden.”

“These guys are the best. We've ordered many loads of soil and gravel over the years, most recently in October 2023. They very carefully get the truck onto our narrow driveway and put the dirt exactly where we want it. The last delivery the driver went in the bed with a broom to knock loose soil stuck in the truck to make sure we got all the dirt we ordered. The soil is great, and grows great plants from seeds - not just ordinary seeds from the grocery but heirloom seeds from Kachwee Seeds and Baker Creek. Grows plants from all the nurseries in the area. We'll be getting some gravel in November and more soil in 2024. 100% recommended!”

“Shop local, shop small business. I purchased these pots for my home. The blue was $39 and the gray pictured was about $8 give or take. These are the styled pots and how they look in my home! The gray was plastic and I love that it looks well made and gives an appearance of much more high end.I asked about things like pot saucers to catch the water on plants and a greenhouse. It appears that they are downsizing and selling inventory for homes goods much more. The customer service was good but the hours are difficult because these are during work hours and if I am not mistaken, they are closed on weekends.”

“Huge, high quality inventory and extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff! I especially found Bryan to be outstanding - he was cordial, professional and always willing to assist in choosing flagstone, retaining wall materials and much more.”

“This is my second visit to this particular nursery, being that I was in the same area when I did visit here prior to catching a bite to eat. I was happy to be able to find what I was looking for which was more of a ground up textured plant, food versus soil, type or liquid type plant food. I definitely like how it's decorated with the decor on the inside as if it's a little nursery boutique and then you have all of your awesome choices of fruits and veggies based of the season outside. I did inquire about the popular black planters that most of their plants or trees come in And was informed that I would have better luck during the spring summertime locating some of those pots at their location. Would that being said I do see some more visits in the future, as I might try a new way of gardening, instead of using seeds, I may just try some of their product that they already have started and continue it on to grow some fruits and or veggies.located right on a corner street of a pretty busy intersection maybe a bit of a challenge to find parking sometimes depending on the time of the day that you go.”

“High Hill gets all the attention due to the cafe I believe but the garden and plants here are truly outstanding and drool worthy. If only I could take home all the beauties they have to offer ?. So many gorgeous specimens. Definitely worth a visit.”

“First off... they were super helpful!!!!! Honor the sale price for my wood! Then top it off I left my New Wallet in the basket and either the person who brings in the carts found it or a Good Samaritan either way it was returned back to me with everything in it!!!! Not everyone is honest and I appreciate whoever did!!!! Maybe I just might get that Home Depot card now... I will definitely be recommending and coming here more!!!! Thank you for your honesty and having a super clean store as well!!!!”

“I am a gardener that has been in the field of lawn maintenance and landscaping for 20 years plus my father has been in landscaping since 1965. But just recently I have been going to Matsuda's nursery for plants and material. Yes, Matsuda's is geared more for the contractors than for homeowners. And the other reviews that I've read have been harsh and almost personal. But when I did go for the first time I was treated respectfully and they where also eager please. They also have a large variety of product and I have no complaints but that may be because I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve. Just know if you do go they are geared more towards the contractor. If you want people to serve you hand and foot go to Green acres and Pay more money. By the way, Matsuda's owns Green acres nursery.”

“The staff were helpful in looking for the attic venting screen. I went online to search for the product and I called first to check if it was in stock providing the staff with the SKU # (product number). There were only two warehouse which had the vent screen. When I went to the Rancho Cordova store, I showed the cashier the snapshot and product number and the stock person on the door located the screen right away. He even gave me a catalog for future reference because I told him I had driven from the North Highland store searching for the item. Good service.”

“Oh my gosh what a lovely place! It’s just such an artistic place, with fountains and statues and beautiful tables and gardens. Just strolling through is delightful. The perennials I bought there would be double the price at Home Depot and the building supplies (I got flagstone) were incredibly reasonably priced! 10/10 recommend!”
