“This was my rescue kitty's first grooming since I adopted her late November 2025. Her short life had been a whirlwind up until then. I wasn't sure how she would handle being groomed.
The staff at APR&S are wonderful! I gave Bianca (a wonderful soul) my kitty's history. Jose, the cat groomer, was so wonderful with my baby girl. He was able to complete the entire groom. When I picked her up, he gave me a detailed account of how her appointment went. He really set my anxious mind at ease. I think he could tell that I was concerned. He took his time with her. He gave her treats (provided by myself) and even got her to purr! I referred my Uncle and daughter to bring their fur babies here. The video is of my Trixie after her groom.”

“The Village Mutt is an absolute gem for pet lovers! They have an incredible selection of high quality toys, treats, and health focused foods that make it easy to find exactly what your pet needs. Their self serve dog wash is truly top notch, clean, convenient, and thoughtfully set up. April, the owner, is amazing with the animals and cares about every pet that walks through the door. “Stopped here for the first time with my husband and son and they were very knowledgeable and kind. Brandon and his dad are awesome! My son who is on the spectrum was getting pretty excited looking around at all of the different animals and they took out a couple of reptiles for my son to look at up close and even let him pet them. If you're looking to bring home a reptile, spider etc. this is the place to support. Family owned, knowledgeable and kind hearted people.”

Right now, their adoption center features two adorable 12-month-old bonded kittens eagerly waiting for a loving home, and at the front of the store, two cute, friendly guinea pigs are also seeking their forever family. “Outstanding customer service service. I visited the La Quinta Ca location yesterday picked up some new items for my new pup. Very friendly and helpful. The manager Cory (Cody) was extremely helpful.
Unlike Petco in Indio who had NO shopping carts. None! How are we supposed to shop ? Bags of dog food are 27 lbs and up. Front cashier was extremely rude too. I’ll never go back there.”
“I visited this store for the first time today. They have a surprisingly large selection and reasonable prices for dog foods. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable. I purchased a bag of my hard to find brand for my 9 year old dog with food allergies and a small bag of another brand at his recommendation. I highly recommend shopping for your dog food here and they will surely have my repeat business.”

“I had a simple and easy time finding a bigger cat tree for my growing cat here. Once I had told them about my cats likes and dislikes, the 2 representatives pointed me in the right direction. The ability to see tree models in person is amazing, they had a variation models to see but im just happy our boy is happpy about the one we ended up picking. I would recommend getting a cat tree here if you're on the prowl, theyre purrrfect. 🐱✨”

“So cute and so perfect!! Arrived quickly! It was really easy to set up just looking at instructions, I installed it upside down, I found that easiest to do. Pretty sturdy also! The lil voids loved it instantly with some catnip of course lol. If you’re worried about it not being sturdy enough and being knocked over I would just add a brace to the cat box to the wall should be pretty good then. Also came with a little rubber brush for cleaning cat hair off!”

“Store employee was really sweet. Help me look for seeds for a backyard pheasant that’s been coming to my fence line. I figured I’d feed him very friendly anyways got there before closing time. They were able to check me out quickly. I highly recommend this feed store.”
