“I'm a big thrifter and love to shop in every states local thrift stores. Stumbled upon this little gem while exploring there area. They have serval locations. Nice selection of career clothing, trendy styles. Plus, jewelry, men's clothing, and a separate area in back for boys & girls clothes, infant & toddlers too! Store was clean and organized which I appreciate while browsing. Didn't pick anything up today. However, I will definitely be back. The pricing is super reasonable and additionally this chain supports women and children. So, this is an even better reason to purchase and donate your items here.”

“Such a fun thrift shop to explore! I managed to pick up an amazing vintage Made in USA dress with a style I always go for when thrifting, cute compact mirror, watch, and purse and although I spent more than I usually do while thrifting, these items you really can't find anywhere else, as is true when finding treasure while thrifting. Store has a lot of stuff to look at which I'll spend more time browsing next time. They have clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, unique vintage home decor and just fun and interesting things to look at that are a part of history. The cashier was very sweet and friendly and made the shopping experience more pleasant. I'll definitely be back!”
“I stopped in here wanting to drop off some clothes and just browse around, I thought the shop was very well organized and very clean. I wish that the selection of clothing was a little bit younger, but it may cater to an older crowd. The overall prices are decent, and I'm sure you could find a thing or two here, I was looking for clothes and couldn't really find much, but I'll be back!”

“I love to support the American Cancer Society Discovery Shops. Roseville, Folsom, Sacramento and Elk Grove. My favorite to shop at and donate. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable and love what they do. The prices may be higher than other resale shops but the quality of merchandise reflects that. Think about the programs you are supporting when you shop at one of these shops. And who hasn’t been affected by cancer.When I travel around California I always look for an American Cancer Society Discovery Shop!”
“Shannon owns and runs a wonderful neighborhood gem. This shop is full of unique and awesome finds, some are even one-of-a-kind finds. The best part is, items aren't overpriced. There's everything from mid-century modern furniture, to art deco chandeliers, to vintage linens, to collector coins, and everything in-between. “Came by for a donation and to check out the selection of items inside. Always a decent wait for a donation, I’ve had anywhere between a 1 hour wait and a 10 minute wait. Staff at donation area were amazing.Inside selection is best in Folsom. The place could use a nice cleaning. Prices are fairly high on some items, and they also will sell anything they can. Saw some items for sale that are literal trash or you can get for free from other places. Some staff inside were a bit loud and obnoxious. “What a great place. I actually shopped here several years ago and now I had items to consign. Steve made an offer on all of the small things and it was very fair. He also was interested in consigning some furniture that I had. I didn't have a way to bring them in, so his staff came out in the company truck. They loaded all 7 pieces, they worked so hard and never stopped for 2 hours straight. Super friendly staff in the store also, Roxanne was a delight! What a wonderful hidden gem of a shop. Lots of unique items and collectibles. Thank You Steve!!”

“I stopped in on my way through town and so glad I did! Found some fabulous treasures, on sale even! The store is kept clean, well organized and has terrific finds at all price points. Very nice, gently used designer items in the consignment section to boutique items. I will definitely return.”
“Finally visited this thrift shop. Bought great wooden pant/jacket hangers at nice price ($4 for 5 and there was more) and three puzzles ($3 ea and there were many more). Generally quality items, mostly very good condition and the shoes were quality brands. Lots of stuff from the 80s (especially clothing) gave me flashbacks. Overeager workers/volunteers. I really like to be left alone when I shop. When I decided I'd hand them my items while I checked out the shoes (good condition, many like new, though spendy $35+), they wanted my name - no thanks. Place isn't large nor are the racks or shelves crowded. Parking along the side (coming from I-80, enter parking lot just before the store) and in back. Exit is on the other side of the store. Donations - go around back. Limited hours it seems. The Yelp page says the proceeds all go to help the local community. I'm always skeptical of claims but I'll choose to believe it and I'm glad this clean, tidy thrift shop with a clean parking lot has a generous positive mission (unlike the unscrupulous "GW"). I might swing by again in the future, if it's convenient. Definitely would prefer to be coming from I-80 instead of making another awkward u-turn coming from El Camino Avenue.”

“This is a hit or miss kind of place. Sometimes you find wonderful stuff, and sometimes it's overpriced crap. But.. they sell makeup! I Love buying high-end makeup here and always pick up some for my daughter in law's stockings. The workers here are super nice. Worth a stop!”
“One thing I take into account when entering a store is how they treat people with color. My mom and I never feel out of place or uncomfortable shopping here unlike some places in folsom. We always gladly and happily buy everytime we come in. The selection is so nice and so well priced! I also love that they are size inclusive!”
“This is the best Goodwill Outlet in the area. Large, rotate quickly, and the staff is so friendly! They really load up the bins at this location and the people are a little more laid back than the other Goodwill Outlets near by. My only complaint would be the lack of shopping carts, and the fact you can't take the carts out of the building.”

“I am completely sold on the Home Consignment Furniture Stores, and have shopped at various sites since 2002. Great service and delivery; unique quality furnishings and extremely reasonably priced items. This allows me to always pay cash; therefore, we haven't had any monthly furniture bills in over twenty years. It has been a win win for both sides. I even furnished my daughter's house with model home pieces that she would still be paying for five years later, if we had gone to a "regular" store. Just in case you were wondering, everyone is more than complementary to us about our home. It's a warm and eclectically decorated 3600 square feet home. I guess the only negative statement I can make is that I try not to go to Home Consignment Stores any more, because my house is full.”

“I like coming here because I have a few good memories of thrifting here. It is always a hit or miss when searching for something good at goodwill. . I have found some awesome clothes here before for work, like name brand work shirts. . I also have found a real fur lether jacket here and I was stunned when it fit me perfectly . . Loved the good finds for cups and kitchenware unexpected when I come browse here. . The service here is good and patient with helping or questions. The value of the items is reasonably priced.
