“I do not understand why there were any reviews under 3 stars! This place is beautiful, comfy, cozy, clean, and fun! Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. Parking garage for safety. Just a really great place for a vacation!”

“During our stay at Glorietta Bay Inn, we were so impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the entire staff. The housekeeping and outdoor teams kept the rooms spotless and the grounds beautifully maintained.

When my car unexpectedly broke down, my husband had to come tow it home. I explained the situation to the general manager, Claudia, who went above and beyond to make a stressful situation so much easier. She quickly moved me to a more spacious room that could comfortably accommodate two people and even reserved two parking spots—one for my husband’s truck and one for the trailer he was hauling.

Claudia and the front desk team provided outstanding service throughout our visit. I would highly recommend staying here—not just for the warm and attentive staff, but also for the prime location, free breakfast and parking, and clean, comfortable rooms. We can’t wait to return!”

“Didn't stay here but spent a couple of hours here such a wonderful and beautiful place had a full moon and an incredible sunset the architecture of the hotel is just incredible if you've never been its a must see and then drive around the neighborhood and enjoy the beauty of all the incredible homes that are built around it incredible”

“We just finished a wonderful 3 night stay at Cherokee Lodge. We stayed in room 3 and while the room is not huge, we found it very comfortable, cozy and charming. The bathroom was nice and the shower was large. We visited in May so slept with the windows open and it was heavenly!! So quiet and the air smelled delicious. The towels are definitely nicer and thicker than in a regular chain hotel. The breakfast is exactly as described, eggs, cheese, yogurt, toast, bagels pastries and plenty of fruit. They have also added a pancake machine. It was soooo nice not to have to run out first thing in the morning to get coffee and breakfast.the flowers around the house and in the back are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! But what stood out most of all was the staff!! Andrea and Tiffany are just terrific! There was a small issue on our arrival day (the house behind Cherokee had a gas problem) and they were briefly evacuated by the gas company. Andrea quickly arranged for us to be able to leave our luggage at a neighboring hotel until they were able to reopen. It all ended up being nothing but it was dealt with so quickly and professionally, we were so impressed. And Tiffany is a total pro. She is ;so responsive and even gave me her cell phone! And when I called to reserve she was the one who helped me pick the perfect room (my husband is tall). I saw a couple of reviews that mention staff not being onsite. Dont give it a thought! This is a great place to stay! Perfect location; close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants and the Del!!”

“We celebrated our honeymoon here and it was tremendous! The personal care was amazing! We were originally booked in a small room but upgraded and it was worth it! We were in a gorgeous one-bedroom with a kitchenette, huge soaking tub, and patio. Our little chihuahua loved it! We listened to the ocean while we slept, ate at Nobu every day, and had the most wonderful time! This was a personal trip but I am going to do a travel article for WHIRL Magazine soon too! This is a special place for everyone! Highly recommend!”

“Great hotel. Hotel Staff are friendly and professional.

Had one issue at one of the restaurants. We're seated at 630p.m. no waiters came by our table. No water menus nit even a comment will be with you. Restaurant was not busy other then another table of 4. We didn't get service until we complained twice.”

“This place was amazing! Hotel breakfast was out of this world and the place is SO clean! Perfect walking distance to the beach and the nearby Panera Bread is TO DIE FOR. The rooms are so comfy and I just wish I could live there! Perfect weather for morning walks and absolutely no shark attacks!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at The El Cordova. The funky, fun style, the pool and the amazingly helpful front desk people made it a great place to stay. The location is super, right across the street from the beach. (A very easy, short walk). They also let us borrow beach chairs and boogie boards free of charge. Our family had a wonderful time staying here and we hope to come back soon.”

“We had to book last minute and they were able to immediately accommodate us. The room was much larger than anticipated and very clean. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful with our questions, they explained all of the amenities so we understood what was included. The parking garage was a great amenity that helped us avoid getting soaked on the rainy days. We had a standard room but we could still see the bay from our balcony. The onsite food options were also well above our expectations for a resort/hotel. We'll definitely stay again!”

“We love to walk when in Coronado, don't rent a car, but this hotel isn't very close to the beach. Staff did let us know there is a free shuttle during the summer & summer concerts the park. Staff was great! Hotel room price is affordable, bonus is the free breakfast.

Rooms: Rooms were nice. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and small sink in room.

Safety: Coronado as a whole feels safe enough to walk everywhere.

Walkability: This hotel is about a 1 mile walk to The Del.

Food & drinks: Free breakfast M-F 6am to 9am and on the weekends until 10am.”

“I gave the location a 3 only because of the street noise, but I did know that could be an issue when I booked the room, the room was a great size & was tidy & clean, the staff was definitely a five! She was very very friendly & helpful:) I would definitely book again & the price fit my budget especially for the location”
