When I walked in I was immediately hit with a wave of excitement knowing I had found a place where people who share my enthusiasm for the craft definitely congregate. They have stock on kits that I can't find anywhere locally and the prices are great.Chill friendly staff.The one gent, who was working at the time, came right over to help me with my questions,I believe his name was Parker. “One of the sweetest, most wonderful shops in South Park, San Diego. So many cute books and gifts and their child section is so precious! We had purchased a little wooden picnic set and upon coming home and opening, realized the handle from the basket was missing. The ladies at the Gold Leaf were so accommodating and mailed us the replacement handle the next week. Amazing customer service and can't wait to visit again!”

“I was extremely impressed by their selection of Underground Comix, and some really really hard to find back issues. Their staff was so cool, relaxed and chill yet very engaging, helpful and quick to hunt down whatever you want. I went to 6 prior SD comic shops that didn’t have my issue, and they did, NM/M condition. I could have flipped!They even had some of _______ ________ published by __________ ________, which every other local shop was also sold out of. I’m not even going to mention the title, because I want to go back and buy all of them. I’ll edit this later after I do.So please stay the hell away from Now or Never Comics until I’ve given them all my money and taken all the good stuff for myself. Just, like, wait a couple days, seriously.”

“I have been a teacher for 7 years, and today I decided to go to Lakeshore (the last time I visited this store was about 10 years ago). I walked out of there MIND BLOWN! The back to school sales are INSANE, and just EVERYTHING is quality material! The workers were constantly checking in with me and also offering to go check the back for more supplies! I feel like I have missed out for years now! They truly have the best selection and can't beat the prices for the amount/bulk they sell! I walked out of there with the best deals and the best items to set me up for the year!”

They have all the paper bags of every color to pick from but I need the balloons to say happy birthday And the single number balloons too They had those here very reasonable too. I was glad to shop for my cousin since she was working. So now we can have a small party We well celebrate my aunt!! So excited Very nice place but take your time to all there merchandise worth checking out here. No candy or piñata's that's okay It's not a kids party!!”

“Another great gift store at SeaWorld in San Diego! This one is hard to miss with the cool contrasting colored designs on and around the building. Inside you'll find trinkets and little things that make for a great souvenir for a friend or family member. It didn't seem to be too crowded when I was there. I'm not sure if that is the norm though? Definitely some cute things at this gift shop! :)”

“First time going to a build a bear, chose this location because the Otay build a bear says it is permanently closed. Brought my niece and nephew here for my nephew's birthday. It was an overall great experience the staff is a bunch of wonderful ladies and they helped make this a great experience for all of us. I had even purchased a bear and outfit online and was able to exchange the outfit for another one with no problems even though they were pretty busy. Thanks so much I hope to return in the future.”

“A great stop for any type of n*** out there from comics, anime, tv shows, tabletop, DnD, baseball, you name it, they most likely got it if it's n*** related. Besides the comics, figures, and other collectible merchandise, they have a large selection of TCG, CCG, and Miniatures games from new to retired. Even old movie, baseball, and dead card game packs. I stopped in and was surprised they had a great selection of Heroclix from brand new Iconix stuff to some blasts from the past. Wish I had a place like this in my state.”

“Ok, who knew that my 12yr old nephew is now into yoyo's?! Thank goodness Geppetto's had a few to choose from!!! The employee who was working that morning was friendly and helpful. The store had a good selection of other toys for young to adult. Location was easy to get to and parking was pretty quick as well. Definitely didn't want to go into a mall so this place was perfect!!!☆☆☆☆☆”
