“The Chevron station was clean and had a nice environment, but the restroom was out of toilet paper. When I informed the cashier, they didn’t seem attentive and were a bit rude. A little more customer care would make this a great place to stop. Hope this feedback helps for future improvements.”
“Early January 2026 Local grocery with a quirky and very communal vibe.
Passing through and found this wonderful establishment with interesting and wonderful displays that offer some choice items
A great supply source in the neighborhood ? ? ? ?”
“Love this store and all those who work here. Open till 2, which is awesome! Fair pricing, and the owner is very nice! Highly recommend. It’s my neighborhood go-to bodega!”
“Big Rock Mini Mart and Deli serves the best sandwiches in the Bay Area. It is worth the trip! The Philly Cheessteak and cheese burger are the best one could ever get.”
“I stumbled upon this place looking for a light dinner and will 100% be back. It’s like a fancier, smaller, local Berkeley Bowl with better quality prepared foods. Their potato latkes are the best I’ve ever had and their salmon cake is chef’s kiss! They can heat it up behind the deli counter and there is seating to eat here.Their prepared food section looks home-cooked, amazing and fresh overall. They also have a great natural product section as well, where I stocked up on Rose bath salts, essential oils, and got a guasha tool too.”
“Great store. Highly recommend. The guys always friendly. They recently remodled it looks great and they added a bunch of new products. I wish they had Monster Energy Juice: Pipeline punch but god willing someday they might”
“Fresh and delicious with such a friendly team!Amazing local sandwiches / subs. The bread is from Boutin just down the road. Delicious sourdough loaves. The meat is Boar’s Head and a great selection.Really good portion sizes and all served with a pleasure and a smile.Very much recommended if you are in Fisherman’s Wharf.”
“Nice bodega in a convenient location with reasonable prices. I've bought many 12 packs from here before going out with friends and will definitely buy many more.”
“I have been shopping here for many years and my experiences without fail have always been friendly and so enjoyable. Sam always has a smile on his face and I always feel so welcome. Have found the prices to be fair , the store is always clean and well stocked. Highly recommend shopping here!”

“Just had the best deli style salami sandwich I've ever had. Very delicious. I also like their macaroni salad, and lasagna. Never had a bad sandwich from these friendly guys. But tonight's was exceptionally yummy! Thank you!”
“I had a great experience at hollow cow market. What caught my eye was that they had flower bouquets for sale! They had so many great items from snacks, chocolates drinks and even fruits. Whatever you need it looks like hollow cow market has it for you! Great short walking distance from the local bars in this side of town. Amazing staff, owner was super sweet”

“Best experience I’ve ever had at a CVS! The store associates were all kind and patient. Glenn, in particular, was amazing, gracious and so very kind. Truly went above and beyond! He’s an amazing asset to the CVS team.”
“This place is great! Don't get me wrong, it's a smaller shop, but the prices are way better than Woodlands Market down the street.
The sandwiches at the Deli are great, my wife and I find them to be big enough to share if we get a snack on the side as well.
You'll find alcohol, cleaning supplies, cooking/baking supplies, milk, eggs, small pharmacy, canned foods, etc. There's no salad bar nor a produce section, though I would say this place doesn't really look to say that it has these things.
Lastly, if you talk to the family that runs the place you'll realize that it is a really comfortable place to be. Very kind people here.
Ultimately, this place isn't a grocery store, it's a market, and in my opinion it is a very good one.”
“Great store with a ton of unique / international flavors of all types of snacks (ramen, chips, candy, drinks, etc.)! Had a lot of fun picking stuff out with my partner and would recommend for anyone looking for good snacks to eat themselves or gift.”
“New deli just droppeddd Lombard market has great prices and the basic goods you would expect at a corner store. I ran out of sugar while making some banana bread and thought it would cost an arm and a leg to get sugar from the corner store but it was actually cheaper than Safeway! And they had both light and dark brown sugar. The staff are very friendly and they have those viral fruit ice cream popsicles that normally only at Hmart if that's up your alley.”
“Wonderful sandwiches and mart that has almost any last minute need. Snacksc canned foods, detergent, trash bags, medicine, drinks, etc. The lady that works there is kind. An essential part of the neighborhood.”

“So much more going on here than others in the area and since Walgreens on Franklin grifted out this is the place! Takes your EBT and all cards and, oh yeah even cash! Great alcohol selection if you drink that stuff ?. They have a better size difference selection on most articles than most neighborhood markets and prices are reasonable for a corner store ?. We very much recommend the USA Market here in Eddy Street by Franklin ?”

“The customer service is good. They are clean and very organized I was able to find things. There is fresh vegetables and fruit. The best part is the take food stamps if you don't have any cash I payed $12 for bread ,eggs mayonnaise , popcorn and a package of noodles . The one thing I seen was someone left there bag unattended in the store and I guess someone came a picked it up. Hopefully that girl got her belongings back . Keep your thing with you at all time. Other than that it's a good store”
“My favorite market in the area. Convenient location, great hours, clean store and has everything you need from house supplies to fresh flowers to your favorite snacks. The owners are incredibly kind and it always brightens my day to see them. Highly recommend!”
“the best neighborhood corner store. always kind service, fair prices and a large variety of items. delicious prepared foods too and the sandwich deal is awesome! I love coming in, it always makes my day better”
“Great corner store. Has everything you’d need in a pinch, even spices and some basic produce, and also has an excellent selection of liquors. Super friendly customer service too.”
“I love this neighborhood spot! Great place to grab a yummy sandwich, 6 pack, etc. Owners are very friendly. Thankful to have a market like this in the area, as there aren't many other convenience stores nearby.”
“All of the staff at starlight are welcoming and especially Ryan who usually works the night hes always asking how he can help and if there not carrying it at the time he'll try hes hardest to bring it to the store for you the next time. so check it out its a cool spot.”
“It’s a good store I would say. Sometimes it doesn’t have the things I want, but the next day they always have it ready. They’re my friends too! I’m friends with the boss as well. They have a cute 11 year old kid too!”
“Been going here for a year now.. good people and clean store.. unfortunately right now they are upgrading the store. So it's a little messy, but can't wait to see the new layout.. there still open tho.. and no they don't take EBT.. cash or card..”

“I love this store!! You can tell that the owners really value what they do. They were very friendly, the store was explicitly clean, and there were a variety of items. Also, the sandwiches are so fresh, I love a nice crisp tomato and that's what I got! The seating in front of the store is a great touch! Such chill vibes”
“Good neighborhood liquor store. Not everything but good alternatives.large cold beer section and some convenience food like milk. Surprisingly the beer price was less than Safeway. Go there for quick in and out and easy parking at front door.”
