“Jackson's is an amazing hardware store with a huge selection. Unless you go often, snag a friendly employee to help you find your way to what you are looking for. We went for a door knob, but stayed to shop hats and rain gear, faucets and floor mats. We were very happy to find exactly what we needed.”

“After a delightful visit to their store in the Mission District, my friends and I decided to come see their Sausalito studio shop as well to see if we'd find other items to our liking. At the other shop we bought 2 dessert bowls from the Rim line. The Sausalito location is sizeable. Showrooms are smaller than Mission location, but still a lot of stock to browse through. The parking lot outside is on unfinished ground -- so beware of large puddles and uneven flooring. Once inside, they offer all their usual collections AND also a whole wall of "factory seconds". These are items that are good to use, but may have some minor defects. They were also come at a discounted price! We were there on Thurs, Dec 28 and it was very busy. Lots of people coming in and out and not much room to move around. It was good that they had about 2 staff at the cashier, and 2 other younger staff milling about to help with any questions. Many of them were masked which I also appreciated during this season of high covid/flu/cold transmission! They also had a small cart by the cashier that was for items you want to buy -- so you can put down safely while continuing to browse. I found a couple of beautiful matte side platters in Chile from the factory seconds wall, and also from the regular section: 2 plates from the Rim line to go with the dessert bowls I had already purchased the week before. As with previous experience, I told the staff here that I was flying with these items and so they wrapped them up with thick packing paper, and they made it safely home. I love how they all look fantastic together, and also look very "Heath"! I've used them a couple of times thus far. I've be hand-washing these items carefully. Will see how they last!”

“Our 16 yo Miele dishwasher finally died. After calling around a number of places it was clear that Marin Kitchen Co. had what we needed in stock, the 1756 model. We went to meet Janet Masolo in San Rafaele. She confirmed they had it, but also arranged for her installer Luis Jiminez to install it the next day. We had assumed we would be without a dishwasher for a couple of weeks. Thanks to Janet and Luis, it was less than two days. Fantastic service.”

“Everything you could possibly need to furnish & decorate your chateau. The store beautifully designed. The walls are a luxurious dark green. Just in the door to your left is your wealthy aunt Mimi's country estate sitting room. There's a lovely portrait of her on the mantle, surrounded by her lifetime travel collections. Footstools upholstered in luxury rug fabric, candles, hammered (tin?) Milagros. Seriously, $54 for a flaming heart. Found one on Etsy for $8. Rent must be pretty high in tony Laurel Village.Nevertheless, the place is beautiful & perfectly curated, and I immediately bought into the fantasy. It's easy to justify buying something special, you know, for that special someone, who turns out to be you. That's how my bathroom ended up with French bottles of verbena lotion, and I'm not even telling you how much I paid for a wool throw.”

“10 Stars! We purchased 3 Badeloft vessel sinks with vessel sink faucets and a beautiful soaking tub and tub filler. All of the finishes and styles are as advertised. These is really great quality fixtures a great value for your money. Additionally the customer service is exceptional. Tyler Rob and the rest of the team are extremely knowledgeable and take great care with customers. When one of our faucets arrived with a missing cartridge, Badeloft promptly shipped us an entirely new faucet. We also just found that the plumber who installed the tub filler over tightened the water feed valve connection and cracked the valve housing. I contacted Badeloft to purchase a new valve but they chose to provide it under warranty at no charge. This is an excellent company that cares about their customers. Highly highly recommended!”

“Love the new SF Ikea - we got a bed and a nightstand from there. Despite it's small size, the showroom in the basement had a ton of things - home and office - to look at and get a feel for. Also, because it's new - the high number of staff is super-awesome, and the number of people are lower. It's so much nicer than the Emeryville or the Palo Alto Ikea where you're fighting through a crowd everytime you go and can barely find any Ikea employees. The downside - no parking on Market, only a garage behind the Ikea. But it's easy to get there by bus and they're offering free delivery of items - for how long, I don't know. It was also easy to return a broken item - without having to drive over the bay bridge and fight parking, traffic and the long customer service lines (no line at SF!) HTH.”

“We were dealing with a last minute drama with our kitchen renovation and I called the store to see if there was anything to be done to get a range top at the last minute. I wasn't expecting to have any luck given that this was Monday before Thanksgiving and all other vendors had quoted me a week turnaround but Chuck and the team managed to get one ordered and available for pickup from the east bay warehouse within 24 hours. This miracle made it so my client is now able to use their kitchen on Thanksgiving and they truly saved the day. I am so grateful and cannot speak more highly about their customer service.
