All Paws Essentials CBD for Dogs and Cats
1835 Newport Blvd A109-113, Costa MesaAs a Trainer, I’ve seen firsthand how All Paws Essentials can improve the lives of dogs. It helps reduce anxiety and stress, making dogs calmer during thunderstorms, separation, or loud noises. The anti-inflammatory properties can alleviate joint pain, improving mobility, especially in senior dogs. I’ve also noticed a reduction in seizure episodes in some dogs, and overall, their wellness seems enhanced.
All Paws CBD Oil is a safe, natural supplement that supports relaxation, mobility, and general health. As always, pet owners should consult their vet, but from my experience, it’s a valuable tool for promoting happier, healthier dogs.

Bailey's CBD For Pets
2930 Grace Ln Unit J, Costa MesaVisited this place for the first time bc my dog has developed dementia and I am desperate to help him manage his symptoms. Jay was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and genuine… the kind of business and business owner I love to support. Praying the cbd works well but regardless could not be happier to have found Baileys

Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies
2320 Harbor Blvd, Costa MesaReally wonderful store! I made my first pickup purchase and there was a little mixup with my order. The staff at Centinela did everything they could to make it right, working with my schedule and ensuring I went home with the right product. I'm so glad this store is local to us. A few new pet shops popping up nearby but this one is wonderful and they always have what I need in stock.

Healthy Spot (Costa Mesa)
1880 Newport Blvd, Costa MesaSince my husband and I relocated to Newport Beach, we've loved coming in. The staff are always friendly and so helpful. I found this to be the case again today with Jack. After receiving a diagnosis from the vet to get my dog a more kidney friendly diet, I was fed to find some holistic supplements to help her as well. Jack was incredibly knowledgeable and provides great recommendations. We'll definitely keep coming back!

The Bone Adventure
2700 Bristol St, Costa MesaHad my dog boarded here for 2 nights, she is a very high energy dog that doesn’t get tired even spending an hour at a dog park. When we went home she is very tired and calm ? loved that she gets to release all her energy here at bone adventure! Also, love that that they are very transparent on updating about my dog, told me that she got an irritation on her paw. They didn’t hide that fact which is very very important! Cause some daycare hides it if a dog gets injured in their premises just to say that their place is safe. Will definitely recommend this Bone Adventure!!

Dutch Touch Grooming
1730 Pomona Ave # 9, Costa MesaJenny is the absolute best!! I’ve moved away and tried other groomers closer to us and no one grooms my doodle like she does so we make the trip to her every time he needs a hair cut. He also loves her and seems to actually enjoy being there which isn’t typically the case at the groomer. I can’t recommend her enough.

Ruff Haus Grooming
2228 Newport Blvd #B, Costa MesaHighly recommend Ruff Haus for both DIY washes and professional grooming. The self wash area is well stocked with everything needed—from high-quality shampoos to powerful dryers and fresh towels.
I also tried their professional grooming services, and I couldn’t be happier. The groomer was friendly, gentle, and clearly experienced. My dog looked and smelled amazing afterward—super clean, neatly trimmed, and happy!

Penelopes Parlor
125 Mesa Dr, Costa MesaBoth of my dogs, Danny and Jill, get top service when they go. Danny (poodle mix) gets his wash/cut/nails and Jill (chiweenie) gets her nails trimmed. The reason I moved to them recently was because my last groomer does not service senior dogs. I was stressed about finding a new groomer. But the staff made the transition easy and my pups are did well there.

Mobile Dexter's grooming
636 Plumer St, Costa MesaMy review is long overdue. I have two pups who love Dexter’s grooming. My eldest pup has struggled when it comes to getting his nails trimmed I used to have to medicate him and have his nails trimmed at his vet (I hate having to medicate him) he would go into the appointment shaking and panting like crazy. Dexter grooming has completely changed him he gets so happy to see them every visit. I see this as a clear testament of the love they have for what they do. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fur Seasons Dog Spa
1916 Harbor Blvd, Costa MesaMarley did an absolutely amazing job grooming our husky, Maui! Maui has a thick wooly coat, and she came home looking beautiful, fluffy, and perfectly groomed. What impressed us most was the love, patience, and care Marley showed throughout the entire process. It was obvious that Maui felt comfortable and well cared for, which means so much to us as dog parents.
Marley is knowledgeable, kind, and clearly understands huskies and their unique grooming needs. We recently moved from Florida and were nervous about finding a new groomer after being with the same one for over five years, but Marley and the team at Fur Seasons Dog Spa exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful to have found someone we trust with Maui and highly recommend Marley to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog!

Animal Wellness Center of OC
449 W Bay St, Costa MesaThis is an overdue review for how Barb and Dr. Tran helped my 16-year old baby stand and walked by himself again. Moka lost the strength in his hind legs and couldn't stand up or walk back in July 2021. He started weekly acupuncture and later laser therapy which helped him walk again in less than 2 months and stood up by himself in 3 months. It was a miracle and I am very thankful even though he crossed the rainbow bridge in April 2022. It's Moka's birthday in heaven today, which reminds me to write this review for the greatest people who helped him during the last few months of his life.

Newport Mesa Animal Hospital
1542 Newport Blvd, Costa MesaIt was only RICO’s fifth car ride, plus, he also flew once on an airplane. This time was different. He was meowing and scared the whole way to Newport-Mesa, even more so than on the plane. He wouldn’t shut up and, because he was sick, he probably thought I was going to get rid of him.
He’d been throwing up a lot for a few days and kept contracting his stomach, rhythmically, about once every second, and breathing heavily, which could have been something very serious. I was just as worried as him. It was his first time being sick and his first time leaving home. No cat likes to go to the vet. Thankfully, he doesn’t know about neutering nor taking shots, at least not just yet.
I like taking Fireball and Tequila shots, but that’s different. Notwithstanding, there is zero difference between a woman’s psychology and a cat’s, so it’s important to be careful with them and get them to think that everything is their idea, which they did.
They all seemed like genuinely caring people, which means a lot for a cat, as they can be skittish. Dr. Terry, Natalia and Kaylee were all very professional and gentle with RICO. I think they probably took a bit extra time with him, in order to pet him and enjoy his company, which he seemed to like. Who could blame them? He’s the best cat ever! I taught him everything he knows. He normally follows me around everywhere I go, until he felt sick. Now that he’s feeling better, he does so again.
We were both worried, but Dr. Terry had a very compassionate bedside manner and made us both feel comfortably. On his way back home, RICO told me that he was happy and was seemingly already feeling better, because he didn’t meow like a scaredy-cat, not once. He did wet himself inside of his carrier, but that’s just because he couldn’t hold it any longer.
They went above and beyond: I received a text message late last night, well after business hours, from someone who wanted to make sure RICO was doing better. That or they just really liked him. Thankfully, he’s back to his normal self, with no more throwing up and no more contractions.
RICO told me to tell Natalia that he wishes he could have said goodbye and he wouldn’t mind seeing her again. Other than that, it was a flawless trip to the vet. RICO is very appreciative that he feels all better.
I research everything, due-diligently. It was no surprise to me that Newport-Mesa Animal Hospital took great care of RICO. Ohhh, and now I know that he’s a boy. Thank you!

2075 Newport Blvd # 107, Costa MesaDr. B is amazing.I'm not even sure where to start. One of my Afghan hounds was very sick and I was being sent from specialist a specialist. He was in so much pain and I didn't know how to handle it.Dr. B was straightforward, kind, supportive and helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and leveled with me on what I was actually dealing with which no Vet had done up to that point. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone for anything but especially to those with particularly difficult cases. In the end it was time to say goodbye to my sweet boy but Dr. B saved him from so many tests, so much pain, and heartache. I owe Dr. B so much and could not recommend him more highly. He's a wonderful vet and person.

The dogs are never leave alone so that staff can respond in any situation. Their systems generate reminders too in order to make sure that everyone is up to date on shots, which is a relief. They also very conscientious about any concerns. My dog is always completely worn out after being there for the day. Just note that if your dog loves water as mine does, then you'll probably have to give them a quick bath once you get home.
Now Doggie Daycare & More has added even more services beyond doggy walks and grooming. You can request one on one time for your pet and even training. A one stop shop at a place that loves our pets.

Seabirds Kitchen
2930 Bristol St, Costa MesaCouldn't find an all-vegan restaurant in Laguna on a Monday evening (so disappointing), so drove out of our way to SeaBirds in Costa Mesa, and lemme tell you, it was worth the extra time and gas money!! Yossi greeted us with a smile and recommended the homemade pesto rigatoni with almond cheese and toasted gremolata (I chose to eliminate the seitan sausage crumble) -- absolute perfection! Since I live 40 miles away, I rarely get to enjoy this place, and I normally order the purple potato taquitos, but stepped out of my comfort zone and so glad I did!!! Then came the homemade vanilla soda (don't forget to stir it) -- a sweet, nostalgic sensory delight! I rarely have room for dessert, but we tried the famous churro waffle with vanilla ice cream (chaffle), and the chocolate avocado mousse with homemade oreo crumble. Both disappeared faster than we'd like to admit. I love the food here so much that I would crawl back on my hands and knees for another meal if I had to! Outstanding food and service, and proof that exceptional vegan restaurants still exist -- thank goodness! 20 out of 10 stars!!!
