Cari was incredibly sweet and gentle with him, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. He came home looking SO handsome, fluffy, and smelling amazing. 🥹🤍
What I appreciated most was how comfortable I felt leaving him with her. Finding someone you trust with your dog means everything, and she made the whole experience so easy. You can tell she really takes pride in her work and gives each pup so much care and attention.
So happy to have found our new groomer. I’ll definitely be bringing him back and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pup like their own! 🐾

We thought we had an impossible dog to groom because that is what almost every groomer has told us. Turns out, this is not true and Tiffy was able to groom him perfectly during the first visit. Literally while I was waiting, another dog mom was sitting next to me singing his praises. Everything she pointed out about the team is exactly what I experienced. Dr. Earl voiced concerns about my baby boy's weight in the first minute of meeting him; our previous vet never said a word in the almost 6 years we went to him. Dr. Earl and his team are so kind (Dan is the best!) and you can tell they genuinely care about all of their furry patients :)

As an admittedly “extra” pet parent (I have a running list of concerns before every visit), Dr. Whistler has never once made me feel like I was overreacting or asking too much. Instead, she takes every question seriously, actually researches specific concerns rather than giving a generic answer, and explains things in a way that’s thorough without being condescending.
That same standard of care carries through the entire team at Mariners Mile Pet Clinic. From the front desk staff to the vet techs to the other doctors on staff, everyone is warm, patient, and clearly loves animals. It’s obvious this isn’t just a job for them — it’s a genuine commitment to animal health and client peace of mind.
If you’re a pet owner who wants a veterinarian and animal hospital that combines real medical expertise with patience and kindness, I can’t recommend Dr. Whistler and the team at Mariners Mile Pet Clinic enough. Frankie and I are lucky to have found them.

Nicole made all of the Europe travel paperwork for my dog completely seamless, and Audrey and the entire front desk team are always so kind and such a great resource for information. Caitlynn and the techs are incredibly sweet with my dog as well.
The whole team has worked with us over the last year and a half and helped us address a wide range of issues to keep my dog healthy. We’ve always felt like he is in great hands here. Highly recommend Newport Animal Hospital for anything medical-related for your pet.

Central Orange County Emergency Animal Hospital
3720 Campus Dr suite d, Newport BeachThis is the face of a champion. At 18 years old, he is still going strong after an intensive surgery that removed his spleen, gallbladder, and part of his liver.
Dr. Kim, Alex the Manager, and their incredible team of veterinary technicians once again showed the boundless depth of their skill and compassion. A heartfelt shoutout to Ernesto, Chelsea, Omar for their support throughout the surgery. They cared for my boy with such steadfast dedication and also managed to somehow find time to comfort his very anxious hooman mom. If they had not acted as quickly as they did to move forward with surgery, my pup could have suffered a rupture that would have taken him from me.
They have given me something truly priceless. They have granted me more time with the dog who has been by my side for 17 years. I will treasure every moment of it, and I will forever be indebted to this incredible team. Thank you for returning my boy back to me.

Jacklyn and Cary are an exceptional husband-and-wife team who genuinely care about every dog that comes through their doors. They don’t just train dogs—they take the time to truly understand each dog’s personality, behavior, and individual needs. Their experience, knowledge, and thoughtful approach are evident in everything they do.
I have a Rottweiler who developed dog reactivity because of mistakes I made while handling him on walks. Instead of simply training my dog, Jacklyn and Cary trained me as well. They helped me understand where I was unintentionally contributing to the problem and gave me the tools and confidence to handle him correctly. Thanks to them, my dog is no longer dog reactive, which has been absolutely life-changing for both of us.
They’ve also become our go-to boarding facility whenever we travel. The best endorsement I can give is that my dog gets genuinely excited when we pull into their driveway. He can’t wait to go inside! That peace of mind is priceless.
Their facility is modern, clean, secure, and exceptionally well maintained. Because Jacklyn and Cary live on the property, I know my dog is safe and well cared for around the clock. Unlike boarding facilities we’ve used in the past, he’s never once come home sick.
One of my favorite touches is the daily report cards. Every day I receive thoughtful updates about how he’s doing, along with photos of him playing, learning, and enjoying his stay. It makes being away from him so much easier.
The entire staff is fantastic, but Danielle deserves a special shout-out. She is incredibly kind, patient, and talented, and my dog absolutely adores her. Seeing how excited he gets when he sees her says everything.
Communication has always been outstanding. They’re quick to answer texts, scheduling is easy, and every interaction leaves me feeling like my dog is in the very best hands.
I trust For a Civilized Dog completely. Whether you’re looking for behavioral training, obedience training, or an exceptional boarding experience, I truly cannot recommend them highly enough. They have made an incredible difference in our lives, and I am so grateful for everything they’ve done for both me and my dog.

I dropped off my very very anxious puppy for a 3 day overnight stay while I was on a business trip. He had never stayed away and has separation anxiety. He was a challenge and they never made me feel bad, they would call me with updates and positive news and offered to work together to help getting him settled. I drop him off once or twice a week so he can get used to it. I've seen a HUGE improvement in just a couple of weeks. Big shout out to Nate as well who has been managing my little monster. Tina is full of love and knowledge, I've been a dog owner my entire life and already made a few changes based on her recommendation. THANK YOU Tina and Nate (and everyone else) for loving and helping our little furry baby.

20291 Riverside Drive, Newport BeachWe have been bringing our dogs there since 2015. They love Gary! We had one Lab and 2 Golden Retrievers who have found a second home there. Last month, we had to travel overseas for 3 weeks and were sad about leaving Teddy for so long. But Gary did a fantastic job to keep him busy and took him for walks regularly. At the end, he didn't even want to be paid for the extra activities. We strongly recommend Four Paws!

They took care of what I needed done for him and when I picked him up he was in a beautiful little box with his name on it and a paw print in clay. The presentation was beautiful. And a packet of Forget Me Not flower seeds. My heart is broken 💔But everyone was so kind.

For me it has become the perfect stop before or after a flight at SNA to grab a great sandwich on the way to the airport or pick one up after landing.
What I especially like is what Jerry’s isn’t. No kiosk. No app required. No complicated ordering system. Just a friendly owner behind the counter making really good sandwiches at very reasonable prices.
In an age when everything seems to be getting more automated, expensive and impersonal, Jerry’s is refreshingly old-school with good food, good value and a real invested person taking your order.

Little France Coffee & Bakery

The pastries are outstanding and refreshingly not overly sweet like so many American desserts. Everything feels incredibly intentional, from the delicate construction and complex flavors to the attention to detail in every bite.
The coffee was just as impressive, beautifully roasted with no hint of bitterness, and the croissants were light, airy, and wonderfully flaky. My wife thought the crepes were more delicious than what she had in France.
It was just a really wonderful brunch. It feels hard to find a French bakery in Orange County that gets both the sweet and savory side this right.
Highly recommend it for a date, meeting up with friends or family, or grabbing brunch before heading to the beach. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about what you want to try next time.
