“Great shopping experience at Costco. The warehouse is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of products at competitive prices. Staff members were friendly, helpful, and efficient, even during busy hours. The checkout process moved quickly, and the food court remains a great value. Parking can get crowded at peak times, but the overall experience is excellent. Highly recommend for bulk shopping, quality products, and good customer service.”

“Plenty of pumps, cheaper than competitors. I've been using their Plus grade for years and car shops never have anything bad to say about the status of the car, so it seems to be the same level of quality as more widely spread brands. Also the staff are always polite, even when I'm heading through at 5 in the morning.”

“The guys are cool. But the place is dirty. Of course there are a lot of messy people around there...so it would be a bit of work to constantly keep it clean. they need a janitor!!! But all in all they are pretty awesome cats. Daytime lady is very pretty and seems to be real cool.”

“Self serve works great, attendant are Always willing to help. If you can’t find the air pump for your tires check the area near the Costco tire center. After driving two days from two states away and coming in from the Great Central Valley, I had to find another gas station to clean the bugs off my windshield and headlights before I could be on my merry way again.”
850 Sereno Dr, Vallejo CA 94589
“Overall, they have from what I’ve seen, the cheapest gas here in Vallejo! I’ll wait so I can get gas here & fill up… Only downside is they only have 4 pumps & it can get real tight in there due to how the pumps are so close to the street as well….”

“I popped a tire on 580 and limped into this station. First the staff turned on the air, and then when it became apparent that I had to put on the spare, they produced a jack -- and then insisted on coming out to help, brought a mat so we had a dry place to kneel (it was raining) and then made sure the spare was on tightly and helped me get it up to the right pressure. Their kindness made what could have been a scary and stressful situation perfectly manageable. I really appreciate it, and am so grateful. I'll be making a point of stopping in for gas and snacks. These guys are great.”
2601 Springs Road, Vallejo CA 94591

“Love this spot. It recently took on new ownership and the gentleman Kamal who took over immediately asked me for suggestions on what I'd like to see stocked on the shelves. Kamal's focused on setting up an ideal spot for his customers and is always fun to pop in and say hi to. He also reminds me about deals I might be overlooking based on what he's ringing me up for. It's a solid establishment that I'll always circle back to.”
3363 San Pablo Dam Road, San Pablo CA 94803
“The Mobil stn on San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante (Faraz), is our go-to gas station for premium for our BMW. Our car runs smoothly using Mobil. My wish at this time is for the owner to participate with the Upside app so that customers could earn cash back for purchases here, and it doesn't matter whether cash, credit, or debit is used. The savings could be $.70/gallon. It is allowed with Arco, Shell, and 76 and others. Mobil should participate.”
4000 San Pablo Avenue, Hercules CA 94547
“I'm sorry I did not leave a review, that's because I stop by on my way home from work at 1am. There are no attendants at that time, so my 5 star was for my convenience of no lines when I get there”
510 W J St, Benicia CA 94510
“This is a great corner store. They tried to help out during the shut down by offering things you couldn't find in the grocery stores. Flour, corn meal, milk, bread. The staff is always helpful and are also part of the community. It gives me a warm feeling inside when I go grab Takis, Hot Cheetos, and Gatorade for my heathens, that they will be safe and watched out for if they stop by.”
500 Appian Way, El Sobrante CA 94803
“Great place to stop for a quick fill. The pumps always work and are in good shape, management is nice, and the bathrooms are properly maintained and clean. Only thing I dislike is if it's busy, it's a bit difficult getting in and out of because there's not much space. But other than that it's great.”
709 Lincoln Road West, Vallejo CA 94590
“I would like to commend Erick (I believe that is how he spelled his name) . I had looked and looked at the gift card kiosk for Safeway gift cards and could not find them. Erick went with me to help me find them - it turned out the gift cards had changed their design and did not have Safeway printed in bold letters on the package - making them harder to find. Anyway I found what I needed and Erick was patient and cheerful helping me accomplish this task.”
13065 San Pablo Ave, San Pablo CA 94806
“I have been coming to this gas station for over 15 year and have always been treated like family. They have been known to hand out meals on holidays and get to know the customers by name. This is how the community wants to be treated.”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
