If you’re ever around Springs Road in Vallejo, definitely stop by this local pet shop! Dale and Erin are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet — super easy to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable. Even if you’re just browsing, they’ll welcome you in like family.
On my first visit, I wasn’t planning to buy anything, just wandering around — but I got curious about bearded dragons, and Dale took the time to explain everything in such an honest, passionate way. It’s clear they truly care about their animals and are happy to share what they know, whether you’re buying from them or not.

“Found their business offered in a Business Directory insert. I reached out to them for a quote on cat grooming and they answered promptly and was able to give me an appointment within a day of my inquiry! Prior to this, I was looking at PetSmart but a lot of their grooming appointments were weeks away and a longer drive. I went in and did a quick consult as to what I wanted. My cat Midnight is a stray my family took in recently and I informed them we weren’t sure how he would do with a bath but if it’s possible, we would want a bath for him. I also requested deshedding, a trim esp on the underside of him, and nail trimming. They were done within an hour, and told me they were able to give him a bath! They also warned me that while trimming his nails, they noticed some green stuff in his front paws and suggested getting it looked at, which I greatly appreciated. Midnight never looked so good or clean as after this service! Definitely will be a repeat customer! Staff from checkin, grooming, and checkout were friendly and efficient.”
“If you like bunnies, this place is the best. They rescue, care for, foster and adopt abandoned and abused pet rabbits. I've been a foster for them for years. Super rewarding and gratifying. They are supportive and helpful.”

“Pet Vet is an awesome resource and I recommend it to anyone in the area with pets. I first started shopping here because the flea meds were cheaper than at my vet's. There's a great selection of food and supplies (some hard to find) and you can get a lot of normally "prescription only" items. Some require a clinic visit but others like sub-q bags are easily available.”
“The employees are helpful. But they didn't have the pet stairs we were looking for. And didn't have the special bling fancy type of collar we were looking for. We wanted the first collar to be special for our new puppy, it's like a babies first shoes. But we did find some cool glow in the dark balls that we did buy and the puppy loves them.”

“I use to shop here for my pigeon feed and they was such great friendly people. I wonder if it's the same people running the store that i use to come buy feed 2012. Well now i have Cockatiels and Canary's so i will be buying my feed from you again. Because the store Elgranero feed store stop customer from using their credit cards and they only except cash that has been going on for 1 yr now. And i wanted to buy a canary bird and i didn't have the cash to buy it now so i wasn't able to buy bird.”
“This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with getting my puppy groomed. She’s a mini golden doodle just fyi. Amber was so nice and knew what she was doing. I love that my dog was the only dog in the shop no other dogs running around and no create in sight, to get thrown in before or after her grooming like other places do. Amber listens to you and what you like with ur dogs cut. Yes she gives her opinion and I like that as well! I could say a lot of good things but mostly I just loved how she treated my 7 month old pup who’s hard to groom cause she moves around a lot. Thanks Amber ? Mazzy will be back forsure.”

“I originally had an appointment for July 3, 2025 because they were fully booked until then. I had asked Bailey if she could call me if they had any cancellations. She called me the next morning, June 21, to say they had a 9 AM opening and could see Jasper then. Kim, the veterinary assistant, was wonderful with Jasper. Dr. Machowski was also great. He explained what Jasper‘s symptoms could possibly mean and was very good with him. Overall, Jasper has had excellent care at this clinic and the staff is wonderful.”

“I always take my dogs to get groomed here every month, they always come out, looking great with their nails grinded! Fun fact: they will take your dog in, even if they have fleas and will give them flea shampoo, it’s important to leave your flea dogs at home and groom them there as to not spread it, but as a last effort, Petsmart will groom the dogs with fleas.”

“Lisa and her flock are the best. Great selection for your dogs, cats and BIRDS!!! I have a hard time finding good larger bird toys locally, but Sugar City Pet Supply has just the bird toys my parrots like. They also make custom collars while you wait.
Street parking is easy to find. Don't forget to say hi to her sweet kitties too!”
