“I had an exceptional experience with Esmeralda at Labcorp and I truly cannot thank her enough.
After recently having surgery and spending two weeks in two different hospitals, I was already extremely traumatized from repeated blood draws. Just this past Monday, I went to urgent care for pre-op clearance for another surgery, and for an hour and a half they tried unsuccessfully to draw my blood. It was incredibly painful and frustrating, and I left in tears while they insisted that my blood “just doesn’t flow.”
Then I met Esmeralda.
Within minutes, she drew four vials quickly, smoothly, and completely painlessly. Her technique is absolutely impeccable. After everything I had just been through, I was honestly amazed. She restored my confidence in something I have feared for over 40 years.
What made the experience even more meaningful was her kindness and compassion. When she learned about my recent medical journey, she gave me a hug and even thanked my husband and me for our service, as I am a veteran and my husband is currently deployed. That level of humanity and care meant more than I can express.
Esmeralda is truly outstanding at what she does. Because of her, I no longer fear blood draws. Labcorp is very lucky to have someone with her skill, professionalism, and heart.
