But I recently visited the Safeway branch in Cupertino, and I was extremely impressed by the style of customer service these group of guys offer. Vu H Huynh is the manager at that branch, and he has a very nice way of making sure his customers are acknowledged as soon as they approach the bank, and happy at the end of each transaction. His team seemed to have the flexibility, and his encouragement to use their personalities to help each transaction go smoothly and efficiently. They don't mind getting a little loud, and being a little goofy to make the customer feel at home. I am very impressed with Vu, and I am glad I had a chance to visit his branch to witness excellence in customer service. It is rare to see this level of quality.”

“I've always had a fantastic experience here. HSBC as a bank is decent (I have no clue why people write reviews of the bank itself), but this branch is fantastic. I've been a Premier customer for a couple years now. The people who helped me open an account as a new grad bushy tailed young guy were so cordial and respectful. I've had great, semi-formal conversations with some of the folks here; the institution does not feel like the dead corporate machine system other US banks tend to mimic. I'm used to the East Asian/European banking traditions and I like it here. Processes in the branch are fast and trouble free. I've never experienced any hiccup here. Lovely place.”

At Castro branch even after multiple visits, my tax form glitches were left unresolved and was just told to ignore the bank's letters. The bankers at Homestead actually tracked down the root cause in my account setup and fixed it. I'll be coming here now. I noticed almost all negative reviews and wanted to add a positive one, since people mostly review when things go wrong. :)”
